Feel bad for kaaya. 3 different offenses in three years is not easy. Hopefully it doesn't negatively impact him. Positive is, he is finally getting competent coaching

this is why I think he comes back for his senior season....to put it all together

"LB Jermaine Grace is now listed at 6-feet-1 and 205 pounds on the latest official roster. On last year’s roster, Grace was listed at 6-feet-1 and 221 pounds. Grace is excited about the new defensive scheme because he will be able to blitz more and use his speed.''

I hope this is a Typo.
Dude I promise he puts on 10 more pounds before the season....he probably lost a lot of water weight

Lord 205 he's gonna get demolished this year.. Please don't have us playing a power run offense.

Did fine with it last year. Telvin Smith at fsu back in 2013 was around 210 and he was there best LB that year.

I knows he's listed at 245 but quarterman looks like a solid 235 or so. All 3 of the linebackers came in with pretty good size. Excited to see them play
When he was home for spring break he looked like he had lost about ten pounds only to find he had gained 5...

I know you said he wanted to get down to about 235, is he carrying the new weight well at least?
He is... Shaq's weight is in his lower half... he is leaner than when he weighed 238 during his SR season

Good to hear, Your kid is going to be a tank!

You know who was the last LB that size not named Denzel was?? Big Beas...and I think he has Jon beason's potential as well

Cager looks like an Olympic sprinter...lulz at him being too thin. Dude might have 6% body fat. If Coley can stay healthy and Cager comes into his own, we should have an elite passing game. I expect Bruce to step in and play a lot of meaningful snaps in the slot. Coley, Cager, Bruce, and the Nigerian Prince are all the type of big time athletes we should expect at the skill positions at Miami.

What about Berrios?

LMAO

Yep the only positive is he is finally getting a great offensive mind to train him unlike the pass oc's either jacory/kyle and stephen had to deal with.

Kaaya needs to gain 20 more pounds for the NFL IMO. At 6'4 1/2 230 is a very good size for an NFL qb

I also think its better to move down to playing weight than to move up to it..Rapid weight increase is hard on knees and other parts of the body...and I'm more concern with body fat percent than his wgt...i can tell in just a few short weeks he is starting to shed...he looks smaller to me but is 6 pound heavier than when i dropped him off at school in Jan

Kind of surprised Gordinier is starting LB.... if Owens was healthy it would be Grace, Owens and Gordinier.... he might be the player that ahocks a few people this year

It's based off mat drills

Nobody got the sarcasm?

Reading this board during the Golden years was all about bashing New Jersey for any reason, when some of the best players on our team now are Golden's Jersey recruits.

Some? I only see 2.
Well 3 if you think Courtel Jenkins is a good 1 tech DT

Jenkins isn't that good. I think he will be the 5th dt this year.

Jenkins is a pretty solid dt..... Stood out at times in the patty cake scheme so what makes u think he won't be better in Coach Koools scheme? Will be in the rotation as a starter or 2nd string IMO.

The offense is similar just more crisp with some new things that would be the equivalent of adding a few wrinkles.IMO Also, the NFL draft isn't based on QB winning percentages. It's about mechanics with the ability to make all throws that translate to the next level. Brad has all that and then some! IMO Most experts feel you can only learn so much at this level. It doesn't matter how much you win in college, it's still a major transition to the league.

Muscle weighs more than fat. It's very possible to trim down the fat but still gain weight.

Jenkins ain't starting over willis or norton. And moten and mcintosh fit this scheme better than him. Jenkins is a 3-4 2gap type of d-linemen.

We have had this discussion before...how do we know who is good and who aint? That BS scheme made all of our front 7 guys look average. Lets see how these kids look under a scheme that allows them to play loose and aggressive.
