Also added that homer would be ready and look how that turned out. Tyshon dye would have carried us to the acc championship if walton got hurt ?.....

1 injury away from straight disaster. Homer literally played every snap. If you think that's a recipe for success you're retarded.

Most teams are at the position other than Bama and georgia

This is miami. The team that has produced more RB's than anyone. You're really going to come at me with that bull**** dude? That's your argument? FOH.

Yes I will this year..... no team is stacked at running back like Bama or georgia THIS year. Lsu would be hurting at running back if guice got hurt

What point are you trying to make? You think we should only have two miami caliber RB's on the team ? Really? You think we should only have 2 miami quality TE's? Why would possibly argue against this. Do you have Aspergers are do you just refuse to admit you're wrong. I never could figure out why people on here give you so much **** but you're baffling the **** out of me right now trying to argue basic depth principles .

Our offense has been BETTER since Walton went out off the simple fact it forced richt to be more creative

Uh........you do realize that since Walton's injury we've played Georgia Tech and Syracuse whom aren't exactly great defenses.
Ga tech had the #4 defense in the country when we played them. Syracuse total defense rank is actually higher than ours by a spot

I'd like to see these stat rankings that you're pulling out of your ***. In no way is Syracuse defense better than ours.

I also doubt GT is #4 unless you're counting yards per game. If that's the stat you're using, then of course they are, they run the triple option which is designed to bleed the clock and prevent the other team from getting as many possessions as they normally would.

Didn’t say Syracuse defense was better than ours just was reporting the stat, ga tech defense is ranked #20 overall after playing us and another team

Quit crying about depth, you deal with the cards god dealt you period. It is what it is. Whining about running back depth all the time isn’t going to fix the situation this year. Help is on the way next year with lingard and Davis. People made such a big deal about missing on McFarland and tyshone dye and look how productive those 2 guys have been. Dye with unimpressive stats and McFarland not even healthy enough to play.

Irvin , polendy, patchan, curry for the spring. No need to add a juco te when we have 2 elite tight end prospects coming in. 1 that will be ready for day 1... pete you sure about that regarding Jordan not being able to early enroll at Bishop Gorman? I’m pretty sure tate martell just did that at Ohio State and he came from Bishop Gorman as well last year

what in the world makes you sure Irvin is going to even be on the team? too many bad indications he won't be. they should absolutely look at a juco TE or grad transfer. and yes that is with how good jordan and mallory will probably be. better safe than sorry.

Take your lumps, I don’t see how you can kick off mike Irvin son on the team. We have enough with Jordan and Mallory. No need to add someone who won’t play just for depth in the spring period. It would be a dumb move

Ray Lewis and Edgerrin James not good enough to get the special treatment?

When Pete ignores a direct question , such as the one asked above regarding the QB, it is probably because he knows something but hasn’t had permission to share. He’s not going to burn his sources. When he doesn’t know , he tends to say he doesn’t. Silence here means they are looking at other options for QB.

That’s just like my opinion , man.

This is what you said:

"Syracuse total defense rank is actually higher than ours by a spot"

This was trying to debate on whether Syracuse was a good defense or not. Syracuse is not good at all given that we were several drops from completely blowing them out and putting 500+ yards on them.

Again, I'd like to see the link where you're pulling these stats from.

That's when you know you've lost the argument. The main point of the argument is potential TE depth next year, or lack thereof.

And with your constant babbling and running into the wall repeatedly, you're at least doing one thing right - showing posters why you catch a lot of flack on here.

What about Ray Lewis kid? He had to transfer to another school after multiple suspensions.

Conveniently ignored Ray Lewis because that would have refuted your asinine point. And who gives a **** what he is doing now. Are you friends with the guy? They still threw him off the team. Which proves your point was, as usual, idiotic and meritless.

I like Brevin Jordan and all, but it's foolish to assume that he's going to come in day 1 and contribute the way Herndon has. Also, we may not have Irvin next year at this point. Our "seasoned" depth would be Patchan who's a converted TE-from-DE who has two major knee injuries he's had to overcome and Polendy who probably won't be physically ready to go next year given that he came in like a twig.

look at Jordan’s film, he’s an elite blocker and has college size already to Man the position. This is not madden you don’t just bring in 3 tight ends in one class. Getting 2 elite te’s in one class is almost unheard, it will be more than enough.
I agree with a lot of what you're saying, but replacing Herndon isn't happening. Not even with a JUCO. So we may as well just roll with what we have. Richt doesn't seem too keen on the TE anyway (though he slowly has come around a bit)

El, I'd be straight with cross training Langham to be a Njoku WR/TE hybrid and rolling with Polendey and Curry just until the Fall. Brevin is GAME READY and will be a Day 1 starter. Why waste an 85 ship on a spring practice Greentree body?
I don't need any convincing about Brevin Jordan, I was literally the first person to ever post on him on this Board.

Langham ain't moving to TE, and a Grad Transfer doesn't take up a scholly & he wouldn't be just a Greentree body.

The reason for it would be as a contingency plan, also adds a Senior TE who can provide depth & solid blocking.

I'm not arguing that someone should be brought in to start over Jordan or Mallory, I'm saying we could use another guy for depth, just like we could have at RB this year.

Brock was the same one championing our unproven depth at RB during the offseason. Everyone knew what we had with Walton and that Homer had high upside, but after that we had crap. I agree with this when describing Brock.
