RIcht said that Donaldson was happy about the move to RT. It's up to him to change his body and become what he's destined to be at 6'6.

Donaldson needs to lose weight, period. Even at guard he's a good drive blocker but watching him on sweeps, his footwork and ability to get out in front of the play is limited. Too much talk about his potential, if he wants to fulfill it he will quit blowing up like a balloon.

Of course he's happy about the move to RT. It's a more glamorous position than G. More potential NFL money there too.

Scaife will start as I said when he signed. Unfortunately, the true freshmans Scaife is going to have to bail out a lot of bum recruiting and bum players.

Rebuilding can take time.... some teams rebuilding means 5 win seasons. Atleast 10+ wins and a chance to win the ACC is our version.

Offensive linemen take time to physically mature and adapt to the speed/strength of the college game - and most need to learn fundamentals they didn't have in HS.

There's absolutely no reason for a kid to transfer after 2 years at that position.

In the NFL yes, but not in college. Just like in college short CBs can still be studs.

Very rarely do these guys go up against elite talent game after game. Even then, guys with short arms have excelled with good feet or great technique. Billy Price has 32" arms and was great at OSU. Will Hernandez and Braden Smith are both less than 32.5", Mason Cole is 32.25 and Will Clapp from LSU has 31.25, which is really short (got that from Walter so not sure the accuracy). McDermott played tackled for us last year with 32.5"

Last year, Forrest Lamp had incredibly short arms (<31.5), but was viewed as the top guard in the draft.

To me, it doesn't make any sense for Hillery not to be getting tackle reps right now. He needs those reps.
