Hope so, and it would make sense.

While I am all for taking a physical upside developmental project like him, he may very well find Mario recruits the OL to the extent he doesn't see the field here. If he is the 5th best OL in this class and we add another high end tackle, no reason to think we will fail to bring in guys as good or better than him next class also. Even if he loves Miami, he may want to play and the path will almost certainly be easier in a bunch of other places.

I'd be shocked if we land Samson. Him and Francis are in the rotation right away come 2023.

I can absolutely see the benefit on not putting plays on tape against two patsies in order to surprise a big opponent. I wish that was what we did.

Mario’s supposed first choice at OC was Jason Candle (HC at Toledo). Hopefully he revisits that this offseason because the school president and AD who hired Candle are gone and the new AD refused to give Candle a contract extension this past off season.

yeah i heard that too and it struck me as an odd statement... i don't think it came across how he intended it to..

No way Frankie or Francis would decommit. @Dwinstitles tells me we can go 0-12 & it doesn’t matter.
