Yes. The in-season stuff won't be as dramatic, but they know the problem runs deeper than a couple guys not executing.@DMoney when you say "there will be changes" are you hearing with actual offensive philosophy?
It's obvious not much is working.
yeah if he said that, doesn't sound very good.Maybe I misheard or am reading into what Frankie said but when Mauigoa was discussed he said "hopefully we stick it out and no matter where we go we either play together or continue our bond/friendship".
Seemed a little wishy washy....
If Mario and Zo truly realize that this offensive philopshy doesnt work then there is hope.Yes. The in-season stuff won't be as dramatic, but they know the problem runs deeper than a couple guys not executing.
Hopefully Gattis and other offensive staff members aren't scapegoats and Mario realized the entire offensive philosophy is the root issue.Yes. The in-season stuff won't be as dramatic, but they know the problem runs deeper than a couple guys not executing.
I think the natural question is why did they need to see it in-season (against mostly poor teams) to make those changes? This wasn't that difficult to predict. It's basically most people's offseason concerns (re: offensive approach) coming to reality during the first 4 (Bethune doesn't count) games. I'd be happy with a genuine change, but remain curious about how it even got to that point and if the underlying reason for not proactively addressing it still remains.Yes. That sounds no bueno. Pessimist side of me says that decoms coming if stuff doesn’t drastically change.Maybe I misheard or am reading into what Frankie said but when Mauigoa was discussed he said "hopefully we stick it out and no matter where we go we either play together or continue our bond/friendship".

***I realize no one except a handful next to Mario have that answer. But, for the sake of the discussion...
Found that interesting.Maybe I misheard or am reading into what Frankie said but when Mauigoa was discussed he said "hopefully we stick it out and no matter where we go we either play together or continue our bond/friendship".

i thought the same thing and went and checked and he was...Found that interesting.
When all of the commits posted after the loss reaffirming their commitment, was Francis one of them? Dont recall seeing his.
The running 'secret playbook' joke where we were hopeful that what we were seeing wasn't the actual O kept everyone from jumping on the staph, but ya, it was obvious from the Spring that this O was straight garbage and was not putting the players in a position to be aggressive and attack the other team. Question remains, if arm chair QBs could see it, why have they been so slow to adapt???I think the natural question is why did they need to see it in-season (against mostly poor teams) to make those changes? It was predictable. I can’t remember if I was one of those who foolishly hoped Enos had some super secret playbook he was waiting to spring open. Glad to see there’s really none of that false hope here. Gattis is what he appears to be.The running 'secret playbook' joke where we were hopeful that what we were seeing wasn't the actual O kept everyone from jumping on the staph, but ya, it was obvious from the Spring that this O was straight garbage and was not putting the players in a position to be aggressive and attack the other team. Best case scenario: TVD looked great in practice and things were working (even if we all knew of the WRs problem).I think the natural question is why did they need to see it in-season (against mostly poor teams) to make those changes?
