Russell wasnt even a diva recruitment.

dude took his officials, unofficials, and committed in July.

Dudes made his recruitment a diva recruitment because he didnt commit to UM as a legacy. If he were to flip from syracuse that would be his first flip.

We just got a commitment from a kid who claimed he is born an raised in louisville and Louisville to the core who flipped from Louisville to us a few mins ago lmao There is "divas" everywhere south fla doesnt have a hold on em....

Mario has done a GREAT JOB weeding through the b.s. and also not putting all the eggs in one basket like our other coaches do....for example we havent chased Calvin Russell or waited for a flip.....His spot has been long gone which is why i wonder why he is constantly brought up on here lol......My man Wingo, and Paris been in position.

They were ho hum on J Roc Lopez and grabbed Spafford early...

we arent sitting around on our thumbs anymore.

Being a "diva" is about more than just flipping. Calvin Russell being defined as a "diva" is not about the number of times he flips.

It's about the comments he makes in interviews, the demands he makes during recruiting, the payment expectations, etc.

Whether it comes from himself or his mother, Calvin Russell has behaved like a diva during this recruitment.

I don’t really know about demands but presumably his payment expectations are going to be met by somebody.

Are they? If that's the case wouldn't he have signed somewhere?
You don’t think the reason he delayed is because of a last minute push (e.g. someone upping their offer)?

Look at Manny sitting at 16th out of 17 teams in ACC recruiting, with #17 being UVA, the two teams in the ACCCG!
If Penn St is smart, they’d make a play at the UVA coach. Wouldn’t have to offer him the world either, just a medium size pay increase. They’re gonna need a program builder that doesn’t need top 15-20 level recruits….because they aren’t gonna have it after this disaster of a 2026 class

I think it's just as likely nobody ponied up what they were asking.
So you think Syracuse reduced the offer to him that he committed on months ago?

Lmfao, Tony Elliott who came into this year 11-23 in his 3 seasons at UVA? If Penn State offers either of those two their AD should be publicly executed.

We would have been in it this year if the ACC didn't have its head up their *** when it came to their tiebreakers. There were 5 teams with 6-2 records in ACC play and somehow the team that went 0-2 against the other 4 teams wins the tiebreaker because of the BC-Syracuse game result.
We've gone 10-2, 6-2 against the ACC in back to back years and don't have an ACCCG appearance.

Now I know some of you have a pathological hatred of Cristobal, but that's ridiculous.
