I'd be disappointed, but hopeful if we sign Bethel.
This is the most loaded SFL DB class, maybe ever. We can't miss out on most of the big names and finish with two kids that don't even start at CB for their HS.

That's because you don't know the 2019 class. As usual, there are lots of good DBs in South Florida.
Davis, Stevenson, Sanginuetti, and Richards would be an ideal class, but there are plenty more

No no no. I don’t want Bethel. Oh you committed to the Gators? Cool. Kick rocks. Give me Samuel or Smith or Wilson or Huggins or whoever. But not this clown. I don’t see how this is good news at all. I.T just means we either missed on guys or went after this guy over better guys like Asante.

Nah, it means just in case we do...Doesn't seem like he has an offer. We are just covering bases with a local kid with a ton of speed and upside.

I have been a huge fan of Gogeta's opinions over the years. So I was really puzzled why we aren't after Wilson. Posted that question on Shadow's board, and freepawn (also posts on here) asked me if I'd seen his highlights. Embarrassingly, no, I hadn't. I'd seen every one of our commits and several others, but not Wilson since he wasn't a target.
Cutting to the chase, I just watched Wilson's senior highlights recently posted on HUDL (vs. Armwood, Naples, Carol City and Central). Has anyone seen them? They are okay but not overly impressive IMHO. I'd much rather have any one of our other targets. Who cares what the other commits think about him? He's just not at their level or at Bethel's. He even seems slow to me, tbh, relative to the commits and Bethel.
Personally, I hope we keep the guys already committed and pick up the two AH studs or 1+Samuel. But I'd take Bethel if those other options don't work out, and it looks like he'll still be in play in January, so Richt is sequencing this perfectly.
Again, I am not local, so don't see what Geta and some of you guys see live. But the tapes tell at least part of the story.

We better not take Bethel over Samuel Jr. Bethel should’ve committed to us when we really wanted his ***. He better go to UCF or USF.
Fck sake, explain to me why I have to explain to you. If we end up with this kid it means he was the best option we could get. Those other guys you like better? Either the staff doesn't think they're better, or they didn't want to play for Miami. Either way, stop pretending like not only is everybody dying to play at Miami, but you know which guys will fit our team better than the coaches do. Because, no offense, if you know better than the staff then we're way, way over-paying for coaches.
Why do you suppose the staff is too stupid to see what's so clear to you?
