Georgia Tech doesn’t care about sports and USC/UCLA can’t seem to get their act together. It’s the other city universities in places young people want to live that could pose a challenge.
Vanderbilt will continue to be a force in sports. Miami, USC, and Vanderbilt: schools in big cities that have full commitment to athletics. Wild card is UCF. They haven’t been good enough since going to p4 but potential is there forsure. Maybe throw UW in there also

Normally means absolutely nothing but the way NIL is working it’s hard to tell. Mario’s track record for flipping but also NOT getting flipped is astounding
I don't believe Mario has a no visit policy, but it sure seems like he doesn't want them to commit unless they are ready to shut it down. His recent track record with holding onto elite commits has been, well, elite.

Agreed. People were always losing their **** when we would have huge recruiting weekends and get no commits (publicly)

Mario is one seriously deliberate methodical dude

His way is clearly working

I would have lost it with Mark Matthews until I saw his tweaking announcement. That’s like a certain poster here when I see them reply to me I can’t even get upset. It was just funny to me

Mark helped me heal man, thank you Texas a&m thank you
This type of thing has been happening to the elite programs for years we just didn’t know it. The oregons/OSU/Bama/Texas etc they are constantly losing players they should get

But in the end they’ve been so good at recruiting it works out

We just didn’t know it worked like this because we were fighting for scraps

Mario is always gonna get his
Facts you have to choose properly. It’s why I never turn full sunshine even to sfla players. Cause if you go off the fans we would have every sfla kid but a bunch of times they don’t work out either.

Like I am dead *** ok with losing Russel last cycle cooper and this cycle Lawrence. Idc to me those just regular dudes, and I’m glad our staff is hella advanced and does everything to get better. Mario don’t coddle to anyone he just builds a savage team where no one can ***** about.

Bama always had decommits, if Nick wanted you bad and you decommited he went back and recruited the player just like Mario did with Malachi.

I doubt they'll flip Lennear. But yes they'll likely have the #1 ranked class like they did a few years ago (supposedly the best class ever). Good for them.

I don't give a **** about getting the #1 class.
I’m with you. I’ve always cared more about average recruit ranking but even that isn’t an end all be all. You can have a great ranking just by loading up on a ton of players

To your point I think only 1 of their 8 or 9 five starts worked out? Of course you want to recruit elite players but with how people are hitting the portal these days, it can vanish pretty quickly

I don’t know much about much and we are obviously going to get great class, but A&M is going big big this year. I know they’re trying to flip Lennear as well. Gonna be a wild ride

People here that can’t handle it will be fun to watch as well

Facts just bring me the dogs, and go by personal evaluations. Mario earned the right to say I’m picking that negative three star, and I can’t say **** cause he may be a hall of famer.

His early classes were rough and people complaining were right to do so

He’s on a roll though. 2025 class looking really good from evals. Looks like each year the classes are getting stronger though obviously in 2023 landing Bain, Mauigoa, Fletcher helped carry the team last year

He really loved his OV and it definitely put us in the game for him. If we can get past the AM OV trip, we may have a chance. I know he said he loves our coaching staff and his best friend DeAnthony is already here.
Ppl here misconstrued my comment about him and Mark Matthews talking to each other as if Kaden is like Mark and soft and thats not the case. They are two of the 5 star recruits in the state so it only makes sense they will discuss things with each other. His decision is not based on where Mark went or wanting to be with Mark.
Kaden seems significantly more mature

Ohio state happy as **** we got Bryant thinking they’re now marked safe from Jacobs flipping
not sure of the inner workings of the budget, but im sure they would make it work if Jacobs wanted in.

Getting a funny feeling the 5* LB from IMG could pop… I see some subliminal comms on social media between all the visitors from this past weekend
Everyone needa up their canes connection so we can put these other programs in the dirt where they belong

He is. His parents loved the ND visit but I don't think he did as much.
It all comes down to this AM visit and then a decision, but I think he is feeling pressured to make a decision now and prob would prefer to wait, so I could see a flip as a small possibility.
But he is not a kid that is going to clown around with this process.

Smart enough not to guarantee anything, but I expect this momentum to carry as we get closer to our “smaller class” estimate

Have to survive TAMU for a certain LB
Gentleman and a scholar

Thank you for the breadcrumbs. TAMU is quickly rising to the top of my disliked rivals board. I look forward to hopefully playing against them again this year

ND (no explanation necessary)
UF (they're only this high because they think they can compete with us even though we continue to smoke them on and off the field)
TAMU (Elko Error)
FSU (would have them higher if they were relevant)
LSU (Lane clown, hope we get to meet up with them - i was also there at Jerry's world in 2018, which was a terrible time)

Great points.
Everyone I know who lives in Austin really likes Austin. They don’t all like Texas, but Austin is their oasis.

And I was raised in Ann Arbor. Quintessential college town and as you noted, a stone’s throw from Detroit which has been revitalized. Of course the weather still s*cks, but overall its a very competitive atmosphere.

The last program we have to concede is ND. South Bend is nothing great but the university does so well by its grads. I’m close with the family of Kyle Hamilton and ND did a great job of selling all the connections he would make by going there. They also don’t have athletic dorms and classes are attended in person so it won’t appeal to everyone, but these 3 schools should compete with Miami over the next decade.

But we are in it every year for the foreseeable future. It’s amazing.
That’s kinda funny…different strokes for different folks
As most people I know in Texas loves Texas but don’t like Austin😂

Yup
I like the way Mario operates
If you are in let’s be in 💯 not 90 and still Diki g around

As long as we kick Texas’ asses on field I’m happy!!!
Me too. Just win.
