Top-20 recruit Prince Che trims list, includes Miami

One of Miami’s top football targets in the 2028 recruiting class has trimmed his list, naming the Miami Hurricanes among his top schools.



On Tuesday morning, 6-foot-3, 305-pound five-star defensive lineman Prince Che has narrowed his college recruitment decision list to just seven schools: Miami, Georgia, Michigan, Texas A&M, Florida, Oklahoma, and LSU.

Che hails from Thomasville, Georgia, where he represents Thomas County Central High School. This past season with the Yellow Jackets, he recorded a total of 45 tackles, 18.5 tackles for loss, four sacks and one pass breakup.

According to the 247Sports Composite Recruitment Rankings, he is currently viewed as a five-star prospect. The site also ranks him as the nation’s No. 18 overall player in his class, No. 3 among his position, and No. 2 player out of Georgia.

He holds a total of 38 offers and the Florida Gators are considered the favorite to land him according to On3. The Hurricanes were one of his first major Division l schools to offer him.
