McCarron was from St.Paul's in Mobile. I live in Mobile and there is good talent here!

Kid can play. Dang. Showed a pretty nice arm there, especially on that rollout to his left.

Some similarities to Morris. Both kind of flew under-the-radar in terms of recruiting, more or less the same size with good athleticism, and both have huge arms. Not to mention Morris also had a background in baseball as well.

That's some real good looking film. Impressive throws. Shows some nice touch rolling out.

Like others have said, he reminds me a lot of Morris but with less arm strength and more touch at the same age.

I'd definitely take him. I like him more than Edouard.

Looks like he got the offer last night according to Rivals.

If that's true I expect FSU to offer, then Florida to offer, the OSU and then Bama. It feels like this year that's how it's been going. We offer somebody then other offers come rolling in.

MOBILE, Alabama - Faith Academy's Malik Rosier grew up a University of Miami football fan.

Now, he has a chance to play football for the Hurricanes.

Miami became the latest school to offer the versatile 6-foot-2, 205-pound quarterback Monday. Rosier already holds offers from Southern Miss, Furman and Arkansas State.

"That is kind of like Malik's dream offer," Faith offensive coordinator Jason Rowell said. "He was excited to get it. Still, he isn't making any quick decisions. He is approaching this like a business decision. He just wants to make the best choice for him."

Rowell said Rosier was expected to talk to Miami head coach Al Golden today and hoped to set up a visit to campus in early June.

Rosier also is receiving increased attention from both Alabama and Auburn. Rowell said he has talked to both Alabama offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier and Auburn offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee about Rosier this week.

MORE ON FAITH ACADEMY QB MALIK ROSIER

"Alabama likes him and wants to see him in camp," Rowell said. "I think Auburn is coming down to see him this week so we'll see what happens there."

I went back and looked at Rosier's old Rivals interviews, and he's been calling himself a die-hard Miami fan since even before we started recruiting him.

It will be very interesting to see how this plays out over the next month. I've been an Eduoard fan since last October, but a Rosier/Kaaya combo is appealing.

If take all 3. I'm a pro-style, under center guy so I like Kaaya. Plus his mechanics are just natural which is ala Dorsey. Not saying Kaaya is the field general (term most often used) that Dorsey was but his mechanics are very good for a HS QB. I like Rozier too the more I see his video plus he has great size. If he doesn't work at QB he could probably fit nicely as a RB. Edourd is the same but could fit into a WR position. Lots of options there.

Then you got to get rid of 3 on the roster, we have way too many QBs as it is. 5 on scholarship is a ton, going into 2014 (Williams, Crow, Dewey, Thompson and Olsen) and that is before anyone enters for the 2014 class.

You want to have 8 scholarships QBs.

Morris is gone after this year, Dewey or Crow will be gone after next I'd be willing to bet one will transfer & I highly doubt Thompson ever plays a single snap of football here. We are just wasting a slot with him on the roster. I think it's just too steep of a hill for him to climb to get into a starting roll, no matter how talented he is.

Cool. Hopefully he is the Duke Johnson type die-hard as opposed to the Sony Michel version....

Agreed. I really like Edouard but any combination of 2/3 of those guys would be a really nice haul. Probably Kaaya/Rosier though if I had a gun to my head.

Edouard is going to have a really strong senior season though, I think.
