Even if you get him back on board...you can't trust him to actually sign with us and not pull a signing day flip.

Samuel is a must get but why r we acting like these guys play the same position....jobes a safety and samuel is a corner.....if jobe signed with us early the staff will still see wsup with samuel they wont turn him away
 
I keep reading people say that we should move onto better options like Campbell, Samuel and Surtain. Is there a chance Jobe knows these guys are better and is investigating his options in the event we land some of the other three? Can you really fault the kid for that?

And for the record Reuben Foster who ultimately signed with Bama was arguably the best linebacker to come out of college in the last 5 years. you know how many times he flipped back and forth from auburn to Bama? He even had a auburn tattoo and still went to Bama
. You think Saban will go through that recruitment to get a player like Reuben foster again? You **** right he would , everytime...

And I agree. Jobe is elite. If he was rock solid with his commitment no one would be questioning his skills.

Campbell and Surtain are a notch better but a Jobe is still a very, very good prospect.

He's a definite take even if we get all three.

I disagree With this kind of. To me out of those 3 Campbell has the best film due to his combo of coverage, tackling ability, speed/closing speed. Jobe film overall(throughout highschool) is Better than surtains. All 3 are ballers and I think Gurvan halll is tight there with them

Jobe has better film but I think Surtain is more gifted. It's splitting hairs. They're both phenomenal prospects.
 
You guys don't understand recruiting do you. If Jobe was an average player, meh, let him walk.

But when it comes to elite players you have to play the game sometimes. Recruiting is trying to get the best players on your time, and it's a battle right now between Bama and Miami. I agree with you all I think it's pretty pathetic how Jobe has been playing this game the best two years. But still, you keep fighting. You don't just let elite players like him walk just because they are indecisive.

Despite his size, I've always preferred Asante Jr over Blades, Ivey, etc...the kid is violent af when the lights come on...Almost like AR (when healthy)...
