Always hate to lose a productive player, but the team’s culture is always first. I will say while the WR room is plenty deep, this is still a major loss if we’re gonna run majority 4 wide due to lack of TE talent.

Saw a clip of him at WVU stop running after the ball was picked off, so there were signs that he could be flakey.
Naw no need to spin it now. Regardless this isn’t something to lose sleep about considering the amount of young talent in the room

With all due respect, we are picking and choosing which character issue kids/players to keep and have bounce.

beginning of camp, like 1st day, Mario on joe rose announced it and all

I know he announced it on his show but don't recall seeing as a PR anywhere or a tweet - nada.

Incidentally, wonder where he ends up given it's a couple weeks away from the season starting. Have there been guys that transfer in August before?

Maybe he can room with Lowe

Whatever, id rather the young recruited WRs play so none think of portaling

Same, He was a good hedge if none of the young WRs stepped up but it looks like we're good on that end so this doesn't hurt much.

No matter how much due diligence u perform, you are gonna bring in players who are not ready to play here. We had a player speeding and is going to prison. Other players got arrested recently. Other players dismissed for minor issue. These things become big problems if the leaders and best players on the team are the ones committing them. Critical players. Until then its, thank you next. I wish him the best, like I do all players who decided to come here at some point.

Not that it is likely all that important, but more so for my own curiosity... what happens to his NIL? I assume that the contract had clauses about if you quit, do something criminal, etc that they dont have to pay you any more and in some cases might be able to claw back money. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a clause about upholding the team standard but also guessing that something like that is nebulous and if his NIL was not too large (which I don't think it was), Miami just eats it.

How do players typically get paid NIL by the schools? Do they get it all upfront? A sum up front then periodically (monthly, per game) after?
