He earned it the moderately hard way against this 2nd string defense.... he's prolly ready.

Fixed it for you ;)

YOu do know they all got reps against 1st and 2nd team D, right?

If you think Rosier put up them scrimmage numbers against the #1 D then...

In the same scrimmage he went up against both Ds. He didn't score the TDs against them, but yes some of his completions and yardage were against the 1st team D. We saw as much in the scrimmage clips. You're clowning right now, dude.

I imagine you overly committed to the Perry bandwagon. Don't worry. Perry will be a stud. It just takes time

The guys who went in too hot on Perry are now engineering all kinds of slick **** to discredit Rosier without going in too hard on him. They don't want to feel the wrath of the real fans, so they're keeping the hate game as slick as dummies can.

The new trash is that Rosier never saw a first teamer across from him in practice.

I'll support him like I do every Cane.

Clearly

I will support him, why because I don't act like a cheerleader like you? I can still be critical where I see weakness on the team. The guy I responded to said he earned it the hard way, no he didn't. Richt was basically wanting to hand the keys to Perry a freshman, that should tell you all you need to know. That's a huge flag in MR confidence in Malik. He earned it but he also fell into a lucky situation with Brad leaving and a two star guy with freshman competing. I think he gives us the best chance to win now and it's the right decision .

I haven't been a cheerleader in any form or fashion. Literally all I did was point out the established fact that each of Rosier, Shirreffs, and Perry ran with the 1s and 2s in the scrimmages. That means they all played against the 1st D at some point.

The fact that Richt seemed to want the freshman to win it heading into the fall is exactly why he earned it the hard way. He obviously worked hard, improved, and showed more this fall. Props to him. I have no idea what the results will be. But I'm **** sure not gonna be nitpicking, or downvoting people supporting Rosier.

Can't say I'm excited about this call - the guy couldn't beat out Kaaya. I was hoping that Shirreff's thumb injury last year was significant enough that it hindered his development and actually he was really good.

Ah well, long live Rosier.

Maybe he's a late bloomer.

So in goofball land Rick wanting Perry to win the job is now being pitched as Rosier getting lucky and having an upper hand? Do you guys even attempt to analyze your own nonsensical logic?

Earned it the hard way or Perry not ready and defaulting.... Why bring up downvotes? Who cares.

Brad Kaaya didn't earn chit and Mailk Rosier hasn't earned anything. When we beat someone convincingly other than App st or WVU then they've earned something.

If Rosier was that **** good Richt wouldn't be spouting waiting on Perry or waiting to announce a starting QB a week and a half before the season starts. Stick to trying to be funny Chise. All I am saying is he ain't earned shhit yet. I still support him and think he gives us the best chance but I ain't just going to act like Rosier is a 5star qb now that he is name starter.

I remember when he came in during cleanup at App State and he was rolling out of the pocket, scrambling, and just an all around different look that when Brad was in. Hope we get something similar to that on a consistent basis. I'm fine with pro style and the traditional QB stuff like last year but the threat of a running QB complementing Walton along with our speed at WR and the threat of Herndon up the seam.. good luck to opposing defenses. That is IF Malik proves to be a capable runner and decision maker and makes the easy passes.. which I would imagine will be plentiful coming in the form of screens, slants, and short yardage routes.

If he gets enough respect as a passer to keep defenses from loading the box, and enough respect as a runner to keep attention from a LB... I'd expect Walton and Homer to break out and be the key beneficiaries in this offense

Nkosi will take the job soon as he's ready.... this is the perfect scenario to have him 2nd string to groom our future star qb.

Nkosi is currently 3rd string behind Evan. He's not 2nd string yet.

What Richt says to the media is in no way indicative of his belief or laxk thereof in his players. For all we know Richt endorsed Perry publicly to light a fire under the guys already on the roster.

You saying he hasn't earned it is your opinion. The only man that can say whether he earned it or not is Richt. After much deliberation Richt chose him to lead this team so he earned it.

No one cares what YOU think of Rosier or how you assess media clips.

Youre wrong and you suck as a fan

Is Junior Rosier better than Freshman Kaya?

And how do u think thats going to play out?? N'Kosi is only behind bc of how late he arrived, once he plays catch up when it comes to certain things. talent wise Evans is not in his league.

Evans has reached his potential which is a 2nd string qb, he'll eventually be a 2nd string qb behind Nkosi as well but hes never going to start for this program.

You seriously cant make this shid up.

These cumquats have no idea what personnel groupings were used to make up the 1st and 2nd team defenses yet theyre trying to use it to discredit Rosier earning his spot.

To even think Richt made it easy for rosier to win the job and didnt give him **** is absolutely absurd. Where and how can you make sense of this logic?

Embarassing that you csll yourselves fans of this team with that weak *** support for a young man whose worked his *** off for this team.

You're chasing your tail, friend. Rosier hasn't earned anything? He earned the starting job. Will he hang onto it? No one knows.

But you claiming he hasn't earned anything stinks of you trying and failing badly to cling to your erroneous opinions on the QB competition.

Let it go. Quit hedging and just support the guy who won the job fairly unless, of course, it's your opinion that Rick fixed the competition AGAINST the guy you claim he wanted to win the competition. Because that makes a ton of sense.

Most Cane fans, BUT NOT ALL, suggest that Richt is ' playing favorites ' regarding the QB issues and what not. Nevertheless, it's time to give Rosier some POSITIVE VIBES and what not. Because Rosier and the offensive line is going to need those positive vibes against might FSU! huh.
