Based on what we've seen of Rosier(which isn't all that much) and making some assumptions on his physical capabilities, I expect to see a lot of bootleg/waggle-type of plays, or at least a lot more than we've seen before. But in today's college football you see teams get a lot of easy throws/completiions with stuff like bubble screens that get the ball into playmakers hands quickly and on the run.

I expect a lot of plays where Rosier may not have to make more than one read. I don't expect to see a consistent intermediate passing game inside the hashes. Rosier has a solid arm but I believe there will be a hit and miss quality to our passing game this season

He doesn't have to be great(not with this defense and the playmakers around him) the question is can be steady and serviceable enough not to blow a game?

This is pretty much where I'm at as well. For those posters who say we'll be pleasantly surprised, I'm just curious if you're basing that on anything specific you've seen in practice?

For me it's a synthesis of what I have seen out of him in live games, combined with, scrimmage stats, and the quotes I am hearing from the coaches about his improvement (the way he is seeing the field and limiting turnovers)
Same thing for me. I watched him closely every time he took the field. Granted that wasn't a huge sample. But it didn't take much for me to see he was a gamer. He is not a "game manager" type of QB. That's why he did and probably will again throw interceptions. But that what you get from a competitive gun slinger who wants to win and win badly. Add to that he is athletic, tough and definitely can make plays with his feet and get you tough yards.

As long as he doesn't turn into a "competitive gunslinger" like Jacory Harris, then we should be fine.

Prepare to be shocked, because Rosier is a much better QB than you're giving him credit before. I think the offense will be wide open and everything will be in play (up top, boundaries, slants, rollouts, etc), and I believe the intermediate passing game inside the hashes will be a strength of the offense. Also, Richt is not a "one read" QB kind of guy. He coaches QB's to see the entire field, and to not make any decisions on where to go with the ball during the drop back, but not until you actually "plant your feet."

I believe Rosier will be a better fit for what Richt wants to do than Kaaya was. You'll all see.

Hey, from your tweet to God's ears!!! With the amount of players and speed surrounding Rosier(or whoever the QB is) it would be shame to just go into the Coker-T and played scared and conservative...

Regardless, I applaud Perry for not enrolling early. I lose some respect for anyone who enrolls early. The high school experience should be played out and cherished to the finish, before doing the same at the next level.

It is down right shameful for any student to work hard enough in the classroom to move on to the next stage of their life before their peers. What kind of parents are we dealing with these days.

God **** you suck. Please, for everyone's benefit, stop posting on this website.
