Exactly! High School football games could also be scheduled there. International and MLS Soccer (if they bring a team to Miami - calling Mr. Beckham) There's definitely opportunity to make money during off season.

No. The original post had a great response to someone saying we'd only use the stadium 6 or 7 days a year. Which, in reality, would be used more often than that. I simply said there is opportunity to use the stadium (if one were to be built) more than 6 or 7 times a year. I don't know how to be more clear than that.

I live in Dallas, and a local high school here just finished building a brand new 30,000 seat stadium at over $60 million.

The Coppell game is on 9/27 and should be a **** of a game. They should be in the national championship discussion. DE Solomon Thomas is one to watch for sure.

You forget we are not a state funded school. Every piece of equipment our hated rivals have, every piece of food they eat on campus, the 3 books they are required to read during 4 years to graduate are all paid for by taxes which Florida residents pay, including Dade County.

No its not. UF's Athletic Department is a separate entity from their school. UM actually has a high donor per alum ratio. Our fund raising compared to their is pretty **** good considering how many more alumni they have. We just havent invested heavily in athletics until recently
