Chise made a good point - everything SEEMS to be in our favor.

You just wish these kids commit and lead the rest of the class, in a perfect world (and I recognize it's REAL early still). Seems like right around when Jim Kelly graduated we started hearing about Sony Michel throwing up the U in his games and then the senior year gets here and folks talking about freakin' Georgia or Notre Dame.

UGA beat reporter on Rivals says that " a number of those close to Sony expect him to choose UGA pretty soon." TIFWIW.
 
honestly all we can do is recruit the guy. we cannot hold these kids feet over the fire. I'm not going to disrespect the kid. Good luck to all. But I know where my loyalty lies.

so we know he's announcing soon. normally when kids commit early its for one of three reasons, first, they don't want to lose their spot. clearly that's not sony's case because no coach in their right mind would pull his scholly. second reason: they get their first offer and they just get extremely excited about it and commit on the spot, again, not sony's case. the third main reason is that the kid is just dead set on going to a school, is in love with it and is just passionate about it and just wants to commit early and help recruit other kids. I personally don't know if Sony is absolutely in love with one school right now but if he is i don't see how it can be any other school than UM, the hometown school that he's been a huge fan of since he was a little kid, the school where he has a lot of friends. don't get me wrong i know kids don't always go to a dream school but thats normally if they wait till the end take all their OV's etc. at this stage, this early i just don't see how sony could be deadset on going to georgia or ND to recruit for them etc. just cuz i don't think he is that familiar with those programs yet. Florida I'm not sure about, he wants competition and they have plenty of it but i rarely hear him mention it . maybe IHATETHISPLACE can give UF's side. as for F$U, i know he recently visited but i've heard from lots of people that losing gran really hurt them and that he hasn't been talking to them much since. ok i know that took a while to read but if you put it together, i think the early commitment points towards us.

Wait people thought she was real?????? A hot blonde upperclassman in law school was really dating a HS senior and spent so much time speculating on twitter where he was going.....

I honestly had no idea what class or scholastic program she was enrolled in. Anyways the labia is free flowing in college for these guys.

Nobody on Florida's side believes Sony is picking UF. If UF gets a south Florida RB it will be Dalvin Cook. As of today my guess is that Sony is going to UGA for a few reasons.

1. Sony had a glowing review of UGA after he went on his visit there
2. UGA has told all their offered RB's they are going to take the next two that commit and then they are done. This could be the reason Sony is ready to commit so early
3 some national 247 reporter and the ESPN UGA reporter said they thought Sony was leaning towards UGA
4. The ESPN UGA reporter is not one of those homers that says things to make the fanbase happy he also was the person out in front of Sony committing to a school early.


Right now I think it is a 2 horse race between UGA and Miami. Sony is not going to ND. I heard UGA has been recruiting Sony a lot longer than people think.

If Miami doesn't land Sony it will be an epic failure. I said it when we missed some kids last year, we have to start keeping these kids home. Just some notables we have missed since Golden has been here: Rashad Greene, Freeman, Bridgewater, Cooper, Avery Young, Keith Brown, Thomas, Collins, Bryant, Bostwick. I know some of them weren't all on the current staff but **** if that list isn't long and getting longer if you add in a kid like Sony and who knows what happens at BTW this year.
 
Guys- Do we know what Big Al's relationship is with Sony? I'm just curious whether he is boys with him yet or not. It seemed like Al was big time boys with Duke when he took over at Miami. I'll never forget the video of Golden talking to Duke on NSD and being like.." DUKE! WHATS UP BRO!!"

That.. was ******* awesome.
