Pender is a mutherfvcking stud on the field.

Nobody on the gator side is calling Collins to UF. He is visiting next weekend but don't look too much into it.

And there is no way I **** Coley goes to UF; I don't think he evens speaks to the staff anymore; kid is a ******* bad *** though

Yeah there is no denying Miami makes way more sense right now, as for Pender I wonder is all.... not sure if Gran would go that route

It sucks too cause I love Pender, but he is so **** thugged out in a Fred Rouse kind of way... some thug is cool, too much is not

**** we need AC Im in the Collins is better than Duke camp. (I know imma get crucified for it)
I just think this kid is a NFL back. Hes a kid who can get 25 or more carries and I doubt Duke can do that until I see it at the NCAA level. Again this is just off his film and my opinion.

Imagine Duke and AC pushing each other omg that would be insane.

Im with Dwins, its very close but Collins is certainly more NFL type than Duke

Collins is a very special player, very special.... so is Duke, don't get me wrong.... but Collins is that south florida back that seems destined for NFL greatness

I see alot of trent in him it depends if he can put on the wieght im not to sure on the body type stuff. But yea kid has NFL written all over him, I love me some Duke but duke gotta show me in big games make big plays like Moss said. Againt the best Duke didnt show so im expecting more from Duke next year the kid is a great no doubt though.

You might be alone by yourself in that camp.
All we have to go by Collins is his high school film and it is good, but you want to see some of the best running back film ever go look at Duke's high school film again.
Go back and look at Duke's high school highlights and look at his Freshman highlights at Miami. Not much of a difference. You see the same player.
A lot of these kids look great in high school film and then you wonder what the **** happened to them when they get into college ala Tyrone Moss or Bobby Washington.
Not Duke he's the real deal and is only going to get better every year. He's going to be setting new standards for running backs at Miami.
He's going to be Miami's all time leading rusher both in career yardage and single season, and all purpose yardage by the time he's done here.
Duke is just that good.

I wish the best for Duke and I hope he does. I saw his tape and it was the best Ive seen. Im talking about which back translates to the next level better and I think we havent seen the best off AC yet. When o boy hits the wieght room watch out. Also if AC goes to FSU I would not wish him well I would be mad as *** and would hope im wrong.

You sound like you think Duke underperformed this year.
UM freshmen rushing record playing part time and half the year with turf toe. A lot of people think these injuries guys suffer are just like a bruise or something minimal.
I hear guys say all the time, "it's just a pinched nerve, man up p u s s y."
I've had pinched nerves my whole life ever since I broke my back in the military, and it's the worse pain in the world.
And turf toe? Take off your shoe and slam your foot into the wall and tell me how it feels.
I can't imagine being a running back with turf toe.
You see Trent Richardson in Alex Collins? Even though they are completely different styles of running back?
Collins is a real good if not great high school running back, but Duke is a once in a generation type of running back.
The last running back I saw like Duke as a freshmen played in Gainesville named Emmitt Smith and before that it was a guy very few people saw as his team was on a television ban. He played at Oklahoma State and is, in my opinion, the greatest running back who ever lived, Barry Sanders.

I don't think FSU gets either one, Ill believe it when I see it

A lot of smoke right now about Collins to UF, not sure if its accurate or just Gator gheyness

Yeah...I just don't believe there's a chance in **** we lose any SF recruits to the gayturds. TH pretty much put a nail in the coffin of them coming down here for guys. What makes you so unsure of Collins to FSU?

The wait, the longer he waits the worse I feel about him

We offered his boy, we clearly have been on him since day one.... he supposedly loves Gran... so what is he waiting for ? imo he clearly realizes that Freeman and Wilder will be JR and primed for most of the carries, then he has to battle Ryan Green and Mario Pender who are both highly touted kids like him

It will be interesting to see what he does, and maybe he is set on FSU... but Ill have to see it to believe it

Imo he would be the best back at FSU right away, but does he know this ? big if

He also probably doesn't realize Mario is seconds away from a felony charge and being booted from the roster

Pretty solid post right there.

I'm not promoting Duke because I'm related or am lining up to be his agent.
I'm just saying this kid is extraordinary.
When it comes to translating to the NFL, you can't talk size or speed. Sure those attributes are nice, but you don't make it in the NFL by being big and fast and running into lineman all day long. I'm not saying Collins is like that.
The greatest attribute a running back can have is vision, and that's something you can't teach. Look at the Edge, Portis, Gore, McGahee.

Here's another thing about Duke. Kid is going to grow into a man very soon. 190 now 200 next year, 205-210 by the time he hits the NFL.
Duke has been the best player on the field on every level and I have no doubt that's going to continue.

I feel what your saying I love Duke but against FsU KSU and ND he did not do nothing and in Miami big time players gotta make big plays against good comp and he was absent. If he is asked to carry the load without another back (Alex Collins). I cannot see him carry it 2t5 plus times and stay healthy I just cant see it. Thats why off durability I would take AC, but hopefully Duke proves me wrong then I will eat my crow. In the end no matter what I want the Canes to win and I respect your opinion and you have valid points. In the end this is why we are here to discuss opinions nothing is fact until they retire I guess.

It is wierd thought, why hasnt he switched? This is Canes fans shouldnt bash the kid he is handling it way better than Bryant.

I am a fan of the Duke/Collins debate taking place on the Stacey Coley thread. Also, where did we find an FSU fan that actually seems to be...respectable?

He was a freshman...and those are 3 of the top defenses in the country...what did you want him to do

Thats true, hopefully these 2 guys can share the backfield so we can destroy FSu with them.

BS he isn't! The kid is only a freshman, give him time to get bigger

Lot of truth in this post

Except Duke is nothing like Barry imo, nobody ever will be

Nova always been a good fsu fan if I ever seen one. He has his times though if u come at him the wrong way. But dude can discuss football respectable if u show him the same respect.

Duke Johnson is on another level; like Percy Harvin athletic while displaying power too.

Duke Johnson reminds me of Priest Holmes

Alex Collins reminds me of Marshawn Lynch
