I ask everyone to trust their eyes. Those who have seen him live and seen him a a few camp settings trust your eyes. Also remember he will only be as good as his supporting cast. If he is set up success. He will be successful. That being said from what I see. WE GOT 1

Right and low key, let em “struggle” at this event so he can remain under the radar. Not saying yall could/would lose him to another school, but you get my point

I've seen Bell twice on tv…I'm not a QB expert.

And obviously he's impressing someone, but it's really a surprise to me he is a 5* rated QB and must get QB prospect. But obviously he's doing his thing at the event.
I'm not one to give negative thoughts on highschool kids. I don't understand how he's rates 1. This is a complete hype train rating.

Those ****ing and moaning about Coleman just stop. Watch the kid. He's a **** winner. He's got the it factor.

We shall see.
But I’ve drank so much kool aid that I’ve developed a huge tolerance. Not bashing you or saying you’re wrong. But those are just the facts of the past 20 years.
From the gator transfer to Kosi’s 15 minute high school highlights to Bluestein praising the Emory commitment.
I’m done with the hype. I want results.
We have some dude who classified early and people calling him baby Jesus because of a spring game.
Jojo been here practicing catching balls with one hand around cones.
Dudes need to show up on Saturdays for once and stop believing the hype.
Skill positions aren’t like the trenches.
You know who the real ones are after a week.

NO LIES TOLD. Get off the pot OR you know the rest.

So can someone please answer my question on how Coleman did at the elite 11? Because someone posted stats, but Coleman said that those weren’t his stats and he didn’t have any interceptions and it looks like those stats were for another quarterback. So did Coleman have a good week at the elite 11 or not? And did he make the elite 11 quarterbacks or not?
Contrary to what Baylin Trujillo will tell you, he didn’t do well. The accuracy challenge on Day 1 was his best event. But that’s just standing still throwing at stationary targets. Don’t know how he did in the rail shot challenge but he didn’t win it. He finished tied for last in his pro day on Day 2. And on Day 3 had an average day. Personally would consider it below average though because 7v7 was an event he usually excels at. He did not place in the top 11 on any day according to the Elite 11, and finished outside the top 11.

After the final results came out. Damage control began. Dereon said under a Tweet with his stats from the 7v7 event, that he didn’t throw 2 picks in the 7v7 event, contrary to what everyone there reported. And Baylin went in a Canes space and made it sound like everyone there was out to get DC and lying on him because he is better than they like to admit and is confident and quiet and business like. But misunderstood and was being interpreted as being ****y and arrogant and they blackballed him for it. This treatment apparently was exclusive to him and no other contestants though, as there have been no other complaints made disputing any Elite 11 results or standings to my knowledge.

Again.. He is not H.I.M or any of the final 11 contestants. Baylin has done a GREAT JOB selling(hyping) his pupil/protege. At the end of the day. He is who he is(insert comment).

Stop shoving this kid down our throats!! He's just an undersized overachiever, that's ranked where he should be.. To try and compare him to Cam Ward's 2.0 is laughable, doesn't even come close to his ankles. He just gives all of the national highly rated WR's another excuse not come here. Please, let me know which of our highest rated WR's on our board can he definitely convince to come here to play with him after this performance?
Comparing himself to Cam Ward in the media is setting himself up to fail when he doesn’t live up to Cam Ward hype. Miami fans want results on the field and have seen the same **** the past 20 years from high school QBs coming in thinking they’re going to deliver a National Championship

None of this matters. Nothing he does his senior year will matter, bc he’s too raw to start his freshman year anyway. He’s got all the arm talent in the world, so he’s got a high ceiling. And he’s accurate enough. If he can pick up the offense and read defenses, he’ll be just fine. If not, he’ll be portal bound within 2 years of being here. Also if Luke is the gamer most think he is, Coleman will be sitting behind him for years anyway. So more time to develop.

Kid has a great release. Hope he continues to develop between the ears and we have a great prospect.

Yes, hIs release is nice but he doesn't use his legs nearly enough. There's no real loading phase to his throwing motion, which means theres still more potential for him to develop as a passer.

Just remember, no matter what, anything that does or doesn’t happen at the Elite 11 means literally nothing. It has zero translation to how good or bad he’s going to be in college. Zero.

Jake Garcia looks like an NFL player in seven on seven. Literally. He’s a ******* stud. But when you put pads on, and put the band in the stands, and big guys on the other side of the ball want to hurt him, it’s almost impressive how ******* awful he is.

What he did this week in shorts is 200.0% meaningless.

I always find it amusing when people take this approach when players that have been hyped up, underperform in certain scenarios. Be it Elite 11, a camp or even spring/summer. Because if he would have won it, no one would be saying it doesn’t matter how well he did.

Well you ran with the narrative o. The ibts he threw that he didnt so we have that.

Preconceived notion

Im sure the person throwing the ball knew of he threw them or not. (It was shown to be someone elses)

I do think braylin promotes him like **** as he should.
Hes a guy that isnt expected to play here for at minimum two years in my opinion either way

He actually did throw the 2 INTs according to everyone there that watched. They mixed up DC and the other guys numbers in the write up, but that was it. Pretty sure everyone watching wouldn’t be lying about it, intentionally, just to blackball one participant. But you’re going to ask why would Dereon and Baylin be lying about it? My answer to that is look at the past 2 comments I’ve addressed. “The event doesn’t matter”, “they hate Miami”, “pretty sure the person throwing the ball would know”. It’s damage control and to cast doubt on the results and divert attention away from the performance he had. The truth doesn’t matter when the lie is more entertaining.

I’d have been the first one to say it doesn’t mean anything if he’d have performed so well that the people there suggested he skip college and go right to the NFL.

It doesn’t mean anything. It’s not football.
