Love it
Not worried about the speed/juice at all. He pulls away from some of the best comp in America. I just wanted more verified measurables. 6’2+ and 225 is lovely for a move around Y. We need this kid.

The Canes hosted 17 recruits this weekend for official visits, and the staff is happy with it how it went. Here is the latest on each visitor:

- Miami continues to move in the right direction for RB Derrek Cooper (Chaminade). He's an extremely high priority recruit and enjoyed learning about the different ways this offense can feature his speed (10.7 100M). I liked Miami going into the visit and still feel that way.

Miami has another big visit weekend set up as it continues to push for a top 5 class. Here is the latest I am hearing:

- The Canes are being aggressive in prioritizing top local talent. WR Calvin Russell (Northwestern) visits this weekend and is a major priority regardless of what happens with other top targets. The same is true for next week's visitor, WR Jasen Lopez (Chaminade)- I don't believe he is an either/or with WR Vance Spafford (Orange County, CA) and the Canes want him badly. I continue to like the Canes for elite RB Derrek Cooper...

What former tight end could we compare this kid to, if he's really 6'3 now a more athletic Herndon coming out of hs?

he aint 6'3.

Hés similar to Lofton. From my hs era he is a more polished souper up wr version of Khalil Jones.

HBack type that should be 6'2 230 while here.

Hés one of my high wants in the class like Charles. Guys might be a tick under measurables but super productive from big time programs.

I like Turner more than Briggs.
