2026 Zachery Turner 4* TE From Duncanville, TX

SMU having a huge recruiting year, and lots of $$. Also have a great HC, who can tell a great story. They will be a perennial top 20 team going forward. Will be our toughest league game this year.

I heard the same thing last year about Texas money but we somehow got Wiley right from their plate. Weird right?

If Texas or Dawgs decide to go scorched Earth on their offer than no doubt we can lose but if the final offers are close I see us winning due to the mother. This recruitment doesn't have any other weird factors going against us we've seen in past: dream school curse, hostile high school, heavy SFE involvement or other shady handlers. The mom is a Canes fan. Just match what others put out and we should win out.
 
Really liked this kid as a playmaker. Bummer deal. Smu doesn’t even get paid by the conference yet I think
