Zachery Turner has made multiple trips to the Gables on his own dime over the last year (Junior Day in 24 and 25) and finally earned his offer in January. He quickly scheduled an OV after the offer came in. He was one of Keelon Russell's main targets last year and its very easy to see why

Two of Miami's top targets at TE will be on campus: Heze Kent (Brunswick, GA) and Zachery Turner (Dallas). Kent is an in-line monster at 300 pounds and Turner is a matchup nightmare as a jumbo WR. The staff is very high on both.

- Miami really likes tight end Zachery Turner and he told me that he sees Miami as a school he could attend. The offensive staff is very high on him with Elija Lofton comparisons floating around, and he got to see the way he would be used in this offense. SMU and Pitt are two others doing a good job of recruiting him with programs like Florida State, Ole Miss, TCU, and Texas also in touch. I think Miami is in a very good position.

Did he change his OV date? OV now May 30-June 1

Duncanville (Tx.) three-star 2026 ATH Zachery Turner has moved his Miami official visit from June 20 to this weekend, May 30, the flex tight end told CaneSport.
Interesting. Bowman supposedly cancels his OV and Turner immediately fills the gap. I'm thinking he's trying to lock in one of the 3 TE slots this cycle.

I just can't see there being 3. And definitely not 3 unless the 105 schollies thing is set in stone. No reflection on Turner, who they may take even if it is just 2.

There are a ton of big-time pass catchers in attendance. WR Messiah Hampton (Rochester, NY) is very high on our board. .....Similar situation with TE Zachery Turner (Dallas, TX). Miami loves him as an Elija Lofton-type player (6'2, 225). Southern Methodist is the local school and he's a must-get for them.
