the most egregious officiating call I have ever seen was the "timeout" that wasn't. WTH

If Hugh Freeze had imploded at that point it would have been totally understandable. The number of bad/ridicuous calls by those officials last night was mind blowing. I imagine they were each escorted directly to their cars.....
 
Based on what I've seen so far:

1. Ohio State
2. Miami
3. Indiana (they administered a well-deserved beatdown in Eugene)
4. Bama
5. aTm

I would hope that Dawson has some graduate assistants working on Matt Patricia's defense. I think that's the key to OSU remaining where it is. I really think they are going to be a tough nut to crack going forward, although they are beatable. Texas got to within 7 when Arch was having problems, so I think that * can be had.

Notre Dame is going to be on the Up and Up and on the way back to the top five, so it will be interesting to see what happens to them later in the year. What I want to see is what happens with UCLA as it gets better over time. They've become a B1G spoiler.
 
My top 5 teams right now. - top tier of OSU and Miami and then their 2 would be those 3 plus probably Bama Texas Tech and Ole Miss.

ND - 4-2 with a 1 pt loss to ATM due to a missed extra pt. If they win vs USC, they very likely end up 10-2 and make the cfp.
USF 5-1 and could get the G5 cfp spot. We will know soon enough as they play Memphis. Oct 25

Indiana beat Oregon(who has beat no one) and Illinois (2 loss).
