Wyche Decommited

We dont know the whole story. This could be a negative, or a positive, as some have posted. In any case, my recollection is that Wyche had a lot of potential, but wasnt ready to be a starter yet.

He was going to play. Wether he was going to be a starter, Im not sure. This hurts, no way to cut it.

How can this possibly be a positive? I'm so interested to see your spin.

We didn't have room for him bc we are landing Valentine/Galliard. Positive enough?

Massive Fail by Golden as is the case with all of his DT recruiting.

He should have done his HW on this. We should have had this resolved early or not waster our time with Wyche.

What difference would that have made? We shouldnt have recruited Wyche then? We needed JUCO bodies. Stuckey fell through because of grades. Cory Johnson didnt want to take an online class. Wyche would have been jacked up either way by this ACC rule, it wasnt like we stopped recruiting people. They got Huertelou AFTER Wyche was already committed. McDowell was also being recruited and sent his paper work in, but could not qualify. It wasnt like they didnt recruit a lot of JUCOs. Apart from being sh8tty luck, as far as JUCO recruiting, there isnt much more they could have done.

C4L, do yourself (and me) a favor and put him on ignore. No thanks necessary.

yeah golden failed over wyche and stuckey not being able to get in, however, plucking huertelou out of the blue and getting him in doesn't count. smh

51,

Just put him on ignore. There are a few non stop negative posters that are trying hard to ruin this board. The best way to get rid of them is to ignore them, figuratively and literally.

Thank you.

Uncle Jethro fails again. Don't give me the ACC crap as Jethro has to know this going in. 3 DT decommits in one class after failing in back to back classes and we keep the man. #trendingupwards

valentine who has a street hustler trying to flip him. then you have stuckey and wyche who were academic related, not because of coaches. u guys make so of the dumbest comments on here.

Wyche is getting paid.

/Has that excuse been used yet? If not, I am officially using it.

Just in case you're statement is wrong I'm taking credit for the these

-Kid got paid
-******* Genron
-Don't worry 2015 is loaded at the DT position
He might have toughed it out and waited until May if you guys weren't so darned negative.

I'm going with Sapp. It's proof that what Sapp said has had immediate consequences.

Ok, but the ACC thing wouldnt have changed either way. That's what people here dont seem to be getting. Wyche was not going to get in EE EITHER way. So what are people really b*tching over? We went after almost EVERY top JUCO this year. Stucky bailed for grades. Cory Johnson because he didnt want to take an online class. We went hard after Pelon. McDowell sent his paper work in to be evaluated and presumably was told he wouldnt qualify. Now Wyche got nailed by this ACC rule. I mean it wasnt like they didnt go after every body they could in the JUCO ranks.

Im with Pete here. Unless there is some program that can take him this late, something is odd. Becuase he would probably have to wait til May to enroll anywhere, unless he's flat out decided he doesnt want to go back to JUCO.

Yes. We shouldn't have recruited Wyche and instead we should have tried pushing those resources towards another DT that would not have been automatically disqualified by a LEAGUE WIDE rule.

Period. Energy, time and money goes into recruiting these guys. Golden's academic HW group should have identified this as a problem.

This same administration identified the classwork quirk that would have kept AQM from Notre Dame but they couldn't identify that Wyche's academic record conflicted with an ACC wide admissions policy?

GTFO. This is a massive FAIL by Golden.

If we hadn't even recruited Wyche then you'd be up in arms about how the staff didn't even offer this kid. Golden and D'Onofrio can be criticized for a plethora of other things, but this goes on the conference and their ridiculous rule.

Who man? Did you want us to recruit that we didn't recruit? They offered almost every top JUCO in the country. Stuckey was grades. Cory Johnon was an online class he didn't want to take. McDowell couldn't get in. They worked on Pelon hard. We has 3 HS DTs committed. Who did they pass up for Wyche?
