And if that turns out to be the case, then this is a major fail. But, we don't know that yet. What if it were TV or another kid we covet more? Signing Day is around the corner and we don't know what things are moving behind the scenes. Letting it play out is reasonable. But, that might be asking too much here, given the itchy trigger fingers on here.

Seeing the same thing--people reacting very often before they should. If I had to react now, I'd agree with them based on what little we know. I just know that we don't have to react now and that we know very little.

I'm okay letting this one play out to Signing Day to see if there ends up being another guy in Wyche's spot and then seeing who that is or maybe to see if Wyche ends up sticking.

Not like we have sh*t else of an option, I mean as much as this sux, the issue is fairly moot. Wether we knew about it or not, he wasnt going to be able to get in this Spring, and if he's not willing to wait til May, there isnt anything anyone can do about that.

Still, I kind of feel Pete's point here. This does seem odd. Not many other schools are going to let him enroll this late. So he would probably have to wait til May no matter where he went. If that's the case, then the kid is bolting because he wants to.

I don't know who else might be an option. There are guys out there that have verballed elsewhere. Never know what might be going on with any of them. Maybe this has something to do with Valentine or Galliard. Does it look pretty bad for us? Of course it does. But, we probably won't really know until Signing Day or closer to it. It does seem odd, though, and that's part of the reason I'm reserving judgment.
 
A lot of people in social media claiming this may be mutual,story being passed is we own him until we deny his app. I guess the earliest this could happen would be may since he is enrolled in his current school this semester.So I guess he shops while we shop. Does this make sense to anyone? Not sure where the advantage is in this scenario?

What ever happened to Elisha Shaw from Georgia? Didn't he like us at one point? **** me, I'm desperate talking about DTs that may have talked about us randomly once in the summer 6 days before NSD
 
I don't get this kid. It's too late to go anywhere else this semester, right? All he misses is Spring practice. Yeah, it'd be nice, but he's a JUCO, so I don't see the huge deal. Just come in May and get ready for the fall. I fail to see how the staff can be faulted for this. I'm guessing that they told the kid that they'd have to appeal to the ACC to get him in for Spring; otherwise, he'd come in May. Whatever.

Yeah, I'm a bit curious to see how this plays out. Add/drop has passed at just about every university. Either way, he's going to have to wait until May to get in.

Yeah, I just don't see what he has gained by doing this. Unless he told the staff that he'd only go to Miami if they could get him in for Spring?
 
Is it possible that he isn't enrolled in his Juco because he expected to transfer and now it is too late to enroll even at his Juco?? If that's the case, wouldn't he not be allowed to enroll at UM in May (or any ACC school for that matter) because he wasn't enrolled in Juco for the requisite three semesters? If this is the case, then he has to find somewhere to enroll for May. Just a theory....

So if he's de committing and it's (theoretically) too late to enroll anywhere else, what's eh gonna do? He's gotta go back to juco, no?

I can tell you right now that we won't be **** next season if we don't get valentine. Wyche was supposed to put us over the top and get this class steady because he was college ready, valentine was supposed to develop into an animal by mid season cause pure talent. With both them gone, we win 8 games max. So start your fire golden and donofrio chants now cause we cant due **** with no pass rush or run stop. Just PLEASE get it out the way. Do it. In this thread. Go.
