He probably wont be visiting with all of this stuff going on but yeah, lol.

Alexis is a must for me, extremely explosive IMO and is a home run threat every time he touches the rock. Extremely productive as well and isn't a smurf. He seems to be interested and he has the big boys after him, we need to keep him home.

Visiting next week with his father for practice.
PRACTISE !!!

Canesport article so TIFWIW but kid says we lead and it’s due to our persistence and how heavy we are recruiting him.....

Coconut Creek (Fla.) Monarch High School WR
Jaden Alexishas the size, speed, smarts and hands that college coaches covet.

Which is why he’s earned scholarship offers from top programs around the nation, including Miami.
And, for now at least, one school has risen to the top of his list of favorites: The Hurricanes.
Miami’s pretty much No. 1 on my board right now,” Alexis said. “It’s the way they’re talking to me. Coach (Rhett) Lashlee, the coaches - I just really like it. And the past month or so it’s really been cool to talk to coach (Rob) Likens every day, he wants to go over things, teach me new things so I can come in and be ready.”
Alexis says he plans to graduate in January and enroll early, but he’s in no rush to make a commitment.
And Georgia is also pushing hard - Alexis lists the Bulldogs No. 2 on his list.
Helping the Canes shoot up his board: Hard work by the coaching staff.
I’ve been in a few Zoom calls, group calls with the whole offensive staff, coach (Manny) Diaz a few times, we got to talk about a lot of things, stay in touch,” Alexis said. “So with coach Likens, Lashlee and coach Diaz it’s more personal talking, basically they’re just telling me they really love my tape. And coach Likens told my dad he thinks I’m the best player he’s ever recruited and he’s spent years doing it.
He said I’m really his guy. He told me the record for Miami is 173 catches and that he thinks I can come in as a freshman and break that by sophomore, junior year easily. He said it depends who comes in and dominates as a freshman.”

Alexis adds that “For me, Miami’s always been a dream school of mine, but it’s been hard this past season because the other offensive coaches that left didn’t talk to me that much. Now talking to the new offensive coordinator, receivers coach, coach Diaz, it makes the recruiting better.”

Aside from UM, Alexis says “there’s a good 10 other schools” he’s talking with on a weekly basis.

“Sometimes it’s one on one, sometimes a Zoom with the whole offensive staff.” Alexis said.

Likens has been here a couple months and is selling kids on breaking the all-time receptions record. My call: Neither Dugans nor Stubblefield knew that stat let alone quoted it to kids.

Gotta like where this is headed....
