WOW

To me, Blake's comments are much closer to how he really feels than some smoke-screen. If he were trying to hide his actual feelings, he would say things more akin to "We'll examine everything after the season." Saying things like "rebuilding a program takes time" and that "Butch went through the same things" (regarding the banner and fan discontent) indicate that he is willing to give Golden more time and AUTONOMY to make (or not make) staff changes.

I will never agree with it, but it's looking more and more like the most likely scenario for next season is status quo, perhaps with minor position coaching changes. Unbelievable.

that is so completely insane that I just cannot believe it

James is terrible, terrible.

He's not even worth the new dining room

You think Jeremy Foley is throwing Muschamp under the bus with the media. Up to this point Foley is all in. And nobody has more invested in Muschamp than Foley. And in my opinion Muschamp is a dead man walking especially after they lose to Georgia for the fourth year in a row.

Foley bleeds for that school. Our guy just bleeds during his time of the month.

GTFO....you realize that James was an assistant at Hecht before he left for the University of Maine, where he was the AD. This is his third time back to Miami. Kirby left; the Howdy Doody looking guy did a drive by. James will stay because he likes Miami.

Do you know how hard it is to get AD jobs? A friend of mine was the assistant AD at Georgia Tech in the late 1980s/early 1990s. He got out of the business because Homer Rice was too entrenched. He couldn't afford the work. Pay was abysmal. AD make money. Staff do not.

Not sure how your post is relevant to the discussion.

Back to my point: Foley bleeds for that school. Our guy just bleeds during his time of the month.

Foley would kill for that program our guy is a tremendous ****.

Sure it is relevant to the discussion. Jeremy Foley is on record as being all-in for Muschamp. He is also on record saying what I posted earlier.

I'm pretty confident you don't know Blake James. I'm sorry he isn't throwing Golden under the bus to meet your requirements. And your comments about him are classless.

I hope Blake James falls down a flight of stairs after I post this.

literally the only way AL gets fired is if he loses the rest of his games. it sucks but we honesty have to root for this team to finish with 4 or 5 wins. we need some ugly losses. We need UNC to come into No Life Stadium and hang 45 pts. We need to get hammered at Virginia. All of these things are not out of the question.

The last thing the program needs is yet another athletic director. Hecht needs stability. The season will play itself out.

Blake showed his incompetence by not forcing Golden to make the "adjustments" to his staff last year. If he really needed to see what this Defense would do in year 4 then he is a ******* moron. Now he is going to push Golden (assuming Golden plays along) to make changes and waste an entire year again. That ship has sailed. Will Blake redeem himself after the season and get rid of the major problem? We shall see, but I doubt it. Should be interesting.

This. Look some times when you have a rash, you can simply put ointment on it and have it fade away. There are some rashes that are caused by other things and you need to go deep into the surface to remove the infected skin. Al Golden is that infected skin and putting some ointment (making minor changes to his staff) is not going to get rid of the itch he has caused this program. Drastic measure is needed, like losing 4 of the next 5 games in embarassing fashion.

Yeah. Just like needed coaching stability (at least according to Golden, last off-season).

You're missing the point. Foley has won NCs as AD. He knows how to run a program and I would trust him as AD. He can do as his please. ******** has done nothing positive. Foley is going to make all the right decisions because he bleeds for that program and knows what he is doing as AD (based on track record).

The point is we know Foley knows how to run a program and he can say whatever he wants. He has earned that trust.

******** has been AD since October 2012. His two biggest acts were the Extension for Golden and Morris.

Nobody trusts the **** and his comments are irrelevant. Actions speak louder then his comments and his actions have chugged cack. We need an AD who isn't a retarded; we haven't had one for some time. We let the more competent one (not that he was ready) in Freet go but we allow this I AM SAM run our program.

We know ********. He has been a ****** and a **** since he was foolishly promoted. His comments on the stadium and his actions (after PSU) speak volumes of his kuntness. Keep comparing him to Foley.

Stability means nothing, results are all that matters.

Since ******** became AD

1. Golden Extension,
2. Morris Extension,
3. Lack of interest in the Stadium (at least his comments were disgusting), and
4. The PSU BS with Golden (he really had control of nothing)

I hope ******** wants to mimic Budd Dwyer. He only makes it harder on our program. We need a new AD who actually knows what he is doing. *** stability. Anyone who says otherwise has a bigger **** then ********.

Nothing wrong with what Blake James said in that interview. You hire a coach that can make the right decisions. If you have to micro manage someone then you didn't hire the right person. I truly think Golden knows it is in his best interest to cut ties with D'Nofrio at the end of the season. Even if he thinks this scheme can work it hasn't for 4 years. It's time to make a change. If he doesn't then that is when Blake can intervene and question Golden. This is when the ball will really start rolling on Goldens job. If he an Blake are at a disagreement then it will be over for Golden. Blake is backing him publicly now bc he believes Golden will make he right decision after the season. If that doesn't happen..Golden won't have much time next year.

His chance passed at the end of the 2013 season. AG lost me after that. That is when I knew this SOB had no brains or balls to do the right thing. AG must go because he has failed during this entire time at Miami to demonstrate the ability to make the tough decisions or to not be the "nice guy". AG has no killer instinct and therefore will NEVER really win anywhere.

There you go again. Ah, you're dead wrong. Golden's extension was executed under Shawn Eichorst.

Jeremy Foley is the best athletic director in the country. University of Florida athletic department has money out of its wazoo. That helps a lot. That being said it doesn't mitigate the fact that Foley is all-in with Muschamp and even recently he said he'll look at his overall body of work and where he thinks football is heading and make a decision when the season is over. I know that's hard for you to accept.

There you go again. Ah, you're dead wrong. Golden's extension was executed under Shawn Eichorst. As for Jim Morris, they are not going to fire him. Miami's issue is not Jim Morris. It's the fact that tuition continues to rise and you're restrict to 11.7 scholarships. You know why Stanford and Rice win? Because they have $18 billion and $4 billion endowments respectively. Even TCU has a $1.2 billion endowment. Stanford and Rice definitely use their endowments for non-revenue and low revenue generating sports because they have cash to burn. And they're not firing Morris because he's earned the right to leave on his own terms. Jim will retire soon enough and Gino takes over.

Jeremy Foley is the biggest pu$$y in the country. University of Florida athletic department has money out of its wazoo. That helps a lot. FIFY. Plus, I'd take Oliver Luck in a second over Foley and that's probably the first of many names that would come to mind.

LOL, Oliver Luck is an accomplished guy, but really? Florida finishes second every year to Stanford for the Sears Trophy and Stanford plays 15 more sports. I understand Foley is a Gator and a jerk, but facts are facts.

Meh, UCLA always finishes in the top 5 for that thing too but I know plenty of UCLA people that are very critical of Dan Guerrero. I guess if you want to factor in women's soccer and men's volleyball into the discussion then we're having a different debate. If your main concerns are football, basketball and baseball then I'd rather have a guy that didn't hire the Zooker and Muscorch as my #1 choice. But you're right too--Foley is a Grade A jagoff so I'm biased.

Jim Morris is utter trash. It has nothing to do with the scholarships. For how many ***ing years now have we had the same issues? The scholarships are unchanged and tuition has risen. We have always been an expensive school, we have always been a private school. Tuition may have went up (as did CPI and Inflation) but so what? Are you blaming his chitty baseball on the price of tuition?

As for the real in 2007-08 Full Time Tuition was $32,422.00 (CPI adjustment is $37,192). In 2014-15 Full Time Tuition is $43,040.00. Are you telling me this $6,000.00 (yearly) is the reason our product has continually tanked.

Leaving on your own terms? Seriously. So just keep throwing money at him because he deserves to leave on his own terms? We haven't been to the WS since 2008.

So let's review, we're not improving in baseball due to the cost of tuition. Wow!

Finally and repeating

Foley has earned the trust, he can say whatever.

******** has done nothing to merit any trust.

The difference is one of the above has had success and won championships. The other is a **** making terrible decisions and has achieved nothing.
