Wow

The same guys who crap on this guy who brings info to the board will be the same guys who are complaining about there not being any info on the board in a few months. Odds are when he was told that information it was accurate.

I'm sure he's just relaying what he's being told by the coaches and some of the players on the team. Problem is they don't necessary know for sure either and they are just going off visit feelings and emotions. I'm sure they'll circle back to the Plan B options and try to flip someone.

We're not getting Keys either. Hopefully we'll get Cooper and I'd like to get Kolojay to round out the OL.

We'll be lucky to stay in the top 10 at this rate for the second year in a row.

We’re some of those guys that Mario recruited? If so give him his credit. Lanning is Doing what he has to do, but Mario’s prints were on those teams as far as recruiting.

I see u didn’t read the entire post, so let me simplify it even further:

1. In the players that Mario had drafted section, these were players that he coached &/or recruited. These players were ones that were recruited by Helfrich, Taggart, & Mario, but since they were drafted while Mario coached them, he was accredited for their draft success.

2. I then isolated players that were recruited strictly by Mario that went on to the NFL from UO regardless if it was Mario or Lanning as their coach. To inflate his #’s, I even gave Mario credit for Taggart’s players since he was at least on staff.

3. I then applied this same criteria to Lanning, meaning the total drafted players included both his & Mario’s recruits.

4. I then isolated players that Lanning strictly recruited that went on to the NFL from UO.

All of this was taken into consideration; I’m a very fair and thorough poster. And b4 u even think of replying: Mario gave him a head start, I’ve shared proprietary info straight from credible sources from w/in UO that this is the furthest from the truth.

I didn’t say he did, & that wasn’t the point or the nature of the discussion; however, since u wanna wear a cape for no good reason, let’s examine who Mario left Lanning w/:

QB? Nope, he had to go to the portal

RB? Nope, he had to go to the portal

WR? Well, he did leave him w Troy Franklin, Kris Hudson, & Donte Thornton, but 2 of those 3 bounced after yr 1 w Lanning…maybe it’s b/c transfer Chase Cota came in & bodied them for the #2 spot.

TE? Yes, Mario left Lanning w Ferguson & Baby Herbert to work w

DE? Nope; Had to go to the portal for that

DT? **** no. Lol. He had to go to the portal for that

LB? Yes, Mario left him w Sewell, our favorite pipe dream LB
Flowe, & Bassa

DB? Yes, but only one player stood out, Christian Gonzales who came from The Portal

OL? Yes

Now, go and compare the cupboard Mario had to work w from Manny. U know what, I’m in a good mood for education:

Players that Lanning inherited from Mario that were drafted: 10
-Jackson-Powers (2nd Rd)
-Terrence Ferguson (2nd Rd)
-DJ Johnson (3rd Rd)
-Troy Franklin (4th Rd)
-Brandon Dorlus (4th Rd)
-Jeffrey Bassa (5th Rd)
-Noah Sewell (5th Rd)
-Malaesala Aumavae-Laulu (6th Rd)
-Jamal Hill (6th Rd)
-Alex Forsyth (7th)

Players that Mario inherited from Helfrich/Taggart that were drafted: 13
-Justin Herbert (1st Rd)
-Troy Dye (4th Rd)
-Ugo Amadi (4th Rd)
-Shane Lemieux (5th Rd)
-Justin Hollins (5th Rd)
-Deommadore Lenoire (5th Rd)
-Brady Breeze (6th Rd)
-Thomas Graham (6th Rd)
-Jake Hanson (6th Rd)
-Malaesala Aumavae-Laulu (6th Rd)
-Dillon Mitchell (7th Rd)
-Jalen Jelks (7th Rd)
-Alex Forsyth (7th Rd)

Players that Mario inherited from Diaz that were drafted: 8
-Elijah Arroyo (2nd Rd)
-Tyrique Stevenson (2nd Rd)
-Kam Kinchens (3rd Rd)
-Will Mallory (5th Rd)
-Jalen Rivers (5th Rd)
-Andres Borreagles (6th Rd)
-James Williams (7th Rd)
-DJ Ivey (7th Rd)

So by ur criteria, it appears Mario had a cupboard to work w both at Oregon & now Miami.

No mistaking Mario did have a cupboard. He went into the HORSESHOE without KT and beat the SUCKEYES and won the PAC 12 and Rose Bowl. So yes he had talent to work with. He also got REAL RESULTS WITH REAL TALENT. I expect the same here.
