I’m sure you said he was the best QB in school history 18 months ago when he committed.

Idk what the floor is. Probably 8-4 if I had to guess. But I’m not interested in the floor, I’m interested in what constitutes progress and keeps the program moving in the right direction, and that’s Charlotte and the CFP. That’s my floor as far as a successful season. And yes, I expect it to happen.

I mean you cant really compare since NIL wasnt a thing and our resources/facilities were SO far dated.

Realistically I think our facilities are probably top 15, would you agree?

I dont even think Mario makes it to the top 15 in coaches salary.

NIL by all accounts is top 5.

We recruit and are winning in that 10-15 ranking range. So the rough math or averaging it all out seems to fall in line with where our resources actually stack up compared to the comp.

oh ya and at least 2-3 of those losses are directly on Mario's coaching. But we could have had Saban in 2022 and we werent winning many games with that roster. Cant we not just agree that 1. improvement has happened every year and 2. the overall floor and ceiling are not high enough and we still have something to be desired?

Right there with you. Vector is up and to the right. Mario has done a ton of good for the program. But to consider this year a success we must get back to 10 wins and this time make the playoffs. And we are still plagued by underwhelming talent management at a couple position groups that must get fixed.

Mario created a laughing stock for two seasons and then Cam made last year fun. MTSU and NeverKneel until Cam saved us.
