Wow

FOUR OTHER D1 WRs?

Name anyone besides Malachi Toney (who played QB quite a bit).

What a load. Yes, Brandon Bennett was prevented from producing by QB Malachi Toney..."Only so many balls to go around"...

I meant to say 4 including him.

Jeffar Jean Noel…Was committed to WVU. Now down to UK and Purdue
Jamar Denson… ODU
Toney (WR most of year)… UM

And a high D1 RB, Louis

My bad 3+ Toney at WR.

I'm just watching the kids tape…And looking at those track numbers and the way some well thought of local opinions signed off on this kid from early on. Am I surprised he's not our #1 target? No…But in a 4 man WR class, yes it's a shock to me we aren't on him in our backyard. I'm not worried about 25 catches on a team loaded with options.

BTW I'm not arguing with you that maybe he indeed is a one trick pony and raw in other WR aspects, just my point that 25 catches doesn't scare me.

Actually, @Imukat said three things:

---small
---lack of big time production
---one trick pony

So the height/weight stuff only addressed one point.

It's not a personal criticism, but you've seen it happen on this board with regularity, even if unintentional, the "side-by-side comparison".

It's no big deal. I've been told, and I've shared, that we are all about height and speed at WR this year. Therefore, the other two factors must be considered as well (lack-of-big-time-production and one-trick-pony).

No quarrels. Even outside of the receiver part, Dorsett had like 5 kickoffs returned for a TD. I think Bennett has 1

I wouldn't call that lack of production lol…And 5'11 isn't small.

He was on a team with what? 4 other D1 WR? There's only so many balls to go around.

There's big plays and TDs against Chaminade on that tape.
