We like to stay in The Town Hall. It's safer on that side of the board.

Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing.

I am going to use this thread/post as an opportunity to make another plea for posters to avoid purposely vague titles.

With a title like "Wow," it's difficult to avoid the thread and unclear until you click it whether there will be anything approaching specific information. And then some people will be offended when they click it and there isn't any actual/specific information. Most people will ignore it and go on avout their day, sure... but if the thread was titled, "It's about to go off (no specifics)," I doubt most reasonable people would be upset (and maybe more people would avoid it).

Understood.

I still believe that emotions such as “offended” and “upset” (to gently quote your words) are a bit much for any poster to feels from a thread on a message board such as this.

Just my 2 cents.

True. QB, DL, WR, LB. I don’t know what the metrics say but in today’s game I think WR needs to be way higher on the list. Miami also was built with legendary WRs. Last player we had even close to that level was AR82.
WR has been ine of Miami’s highest ranked positions in regard to recruiting. Look at our current non transfer receiver recruiting ratings on 247

Trader: 96
Carr: 95
Robinson: 92
Joseph: 94
Moore: 92
Toney: 89 (was much higher before reclassifying)
Upshaw: 89

I believe only DL has a higher average on the roster.

It’s all first and second year guys outside of Joseph but every receiver we’ve recruited outside of Upshaw would be considered a blue chip prospect.

Fragile ego, possibly, it's the one thing you replied to.

I'll tell you what, prove me wrong. I don't talk what I hear, people tell me in DM's when I'm active, but prove yourself. Shoot me a DM with your Wow info, I'll keep it between you and I. **** happens, I'll sing your praises, happily be wrong.

Let's recap though. You post one time, with a literal nothing burger post. 11 or 13 pages later, I find that amusing. I don't recall seeing your claims come to fruition in the past and that could be a me problem.

So let's hear it. You don't have **** to prove to me, I wish you the best life has to offer, but do you. You got something, cool, but this is an attention seeking post on your part if I've ever seen one.

& Upshaw is criminally underrated definitely a bluechip put up better numbers as the go to guy without 5*coleman his senior season over 1500 yds and 18 TD's 1st team all state 7A in Alabama

There are about a half-dozen posters (maybe more) who seem to have developed an intentional or unintentional schtick, whereby they choose to start reminding us (almost immediately) that impending good news has not, in fact, happened yet.

It's exhausting.

I could name names, but it's pretty easy to spot. And repetitive.
A half dozen? Ive seen more than that last ciuple pages and they arent the usuals its ALOT of fuxkin idiots on here bro

Agree or not, CIS fans are in prove it mode. They see that Mario hasn't recruited any wide receivers who have hit big on the field during his first 3 seasons at a spot where 1st and 2nd year guys can make a splash. Smith's success at Taint adds fuel to the fire.

My 0.02 is that the poor WR recruiting narrative will be shattered this season just like the QB killer narrative was last season. Need Jojo and ideally a second Mario recruit to emerge.
