Wow

Yes.

If people don't like a thread like this, they don't have to come back to it.

And we certainly don't need any dopey white knights trying to defend a poster by misstating the issue.

It's very simple, if people don't like the subject matter of the thread, fine. Leave the thread. But don't attack the original poster, who is one of the most solid and reliable on the board.

I am going to use this thread/post as an opportunity to make another plea for posters to avoid purposely vague titles.

With a title like "Wow," it's difficult to avoid the thread and unclear until you click it whether there will be anything approaching specific information. And then some people will be offended when they click it and there isn't any actual/specific information. Most people will ignore it and go on avout their day, sure... but if the thread was titled, "It's about to go off (no specifics)," I doubt most reasonable people would be upset (and maybe more people would avoid it).

Assuming UM has a system which is based on data analytics, and again I am basing this as much on common sense as actual knowledge, then from that assumption and looking at how UM has recruited the past few years, it seems very clear that we are not spending money on 5 star QB’s.

I would not call this Moneyball because that was based on a premise of identifying characteristics that were undervalued by every one else. Here everyone already has the data. But some read it differently than others, and still pay for 5 star QB’s.

They are choosing to spend a good percentage of whatever their internal cap is on the starting QB. I wouldn't evens say Miami wouldn't be oppsoed to spending money on a 5 star QB it would just need to have all the boxes checked (Neiman Lawrence maybe).

Fragile ego, possibly, it's the one thing you replied to.

I'll tell you what, prove me wrong. I don't talk what I hear, people tell me in DM's when I'm active, but prove yourself. Shoot me a DM with your Wow info, I'll keep it between you and I. **** happens, I'll sing your praises, happily be wrong.

Let's recap though. You post one time, with a literal nothing burger post. 11 or 13 pages later, I find that amusing. I don't recall seeing your claims come to fruition in the past and that could be a me problem.

So let's hear it. You don't have **** to prove to me, I wish you the best life has to offer, but do you. You got something, cool, but this is an attention seeking post on your part if I've ever seen one.
you have no idea who you are talking to here and I mean that respectfully. @1murhurricane is legit legit and very deep when it comes to recruiting knowledge and I will just leave it at that. Take his post like a bat signal which is what he was trying to relay to the board.
