The issue with pathetic little CaneSince4Ever (clear fake name/troll as he's an FSU and Winston fan boy) is that that I am playing chess while he is playing checkers. Nobody on this thread is taking about the girl or evidence about things she did or didn't do...and for a reason. Instead we are talking about the complete F Up that the TPB and FSU Athletic department colluded in order to make sure there is no evidence for a proper trial. Get it yet young boy?
There can not be a trial if you do no have evidence and if you do not have the evidence then your QB can play and help reap millions of dollars in windfall on the Tallahassee community and make all the fans (like the TPD cop who was originally called to handle the case) happy. The TPD knows more than anyone how important evidence collection is in the 24-48 hour timeframe after a crime and as the original post stated they purposely mishandled the investigation to benefit the FSU Football team and its star player. Make sense yet youngin?
They did not collect video at Potbelly's because it could possible shown Winston being a *** and treating her like a possession and taking advantage of her intoxication. Or it could show him acting like a gentleman to her and her throwing herself all over him like a ****. But why collect evidence when if you do nothing Winston won't go to trial due to lack of evidence? Why take the risk to find a video of him in the process of raping someone? That's where and why the TPD purpose failed because "he said...she said" never sticks and they know the rules better than anyone.
Same goes for why try to find the taxi driver who took all 3 of them home that night. If they do and the taxi driver said Winston was being aggressive and pushy then it could be held against him in a trail. It could work the other way around and show the girl jumping his bones but why risk involving the taxi driver to do their actual job and try to get a clear picture of the unfortunate event when if they do nothing Winston will not go to trial due to lack of evidence. Get it yet?
Same applies to finding the person who raped her. I'm not Sherlock Holmes but if I'm a detective and a poor girl said he got raped by a freshman on the football team named "Chris" I would be able to find that person by talking into google in 5 seconds. He failed to follow up on her request for a reason. He failed to do his job for a reason. Those delays allowed evidence that could have been used in a trail to disappear and for Winston and Cashier and Darby to lawyer up BEFORE even talking to police which was the plan between the TPB and FSU Athletic Dept in order to save the schools prized player and football team.
By the time Meggs and the State Attorney got around to ACTUALY investigating the case all evidence had disappeared...the tape at Potbelly's (where the event originated) was looped over, the taxi driver gone, everyone involved already lawyered up, video of incident erased...erased purposely I might add, etc.
Here are the most damning pieces of a cover up:
1. Cashier video taped Winston raping a woman that night. This is the only piece of evidence that could 100% tell the world if he raped or didn't rape her. His lawyer, after watching it told him to destroy the video before the State Attorney could see it. Think about that for a second...If on the other hand the video had shown Winston consensually having *** with the woman then he would have 100000% used it to clear his name and stop the years long process where the nation found out FSU is a shame university and Winston a rapist. Instead he watched it and said delete that tape video now because what he saw was Jamies Winston raping an innocent woman.
2. The cop (Scott Angulo) said under oath he, "did not know who Winston was or his status as a prized recruit for the Seminoles"...yet this was an FSU grad, lived in Tallahassee, and was a member of FSU Football message boards...he was part of said FSU Football Message board until a week after this rape went public and the media put his love affair with FSU Football and his handling of the case together. -

****...Scott's own mother was a member of the a "Jameis Winston Fans" page on Facebook until the week this hit the news when she mysteriously removed herself from the fan group.
3. The complaint adds a new wrinkle to this story: "Darby also entered the room but told Winston, 'Dude, she is telling you to stop,'" it reads. In response, Kinsman says, "Winston picked her up in a fireman's carry, walked her into his bathroom, deposited her onto the hard floor, and locked the door." Kinsman says that Darby then left. For the first time ever, we learn that on December 9, "[Darby] posted to his Facebook page 'I feel the worst I almost felt in my life Smh
#stupid .'
4. The taxi driver the TPD claimed they could not find to interview for evidence was actually found with ease by the girls attorney showing how poorly the TPD purposely did not collect vital evidence.
