In my opinion whatever other records may have been in the last 40 years this is the worst team both because of expectations, **** poor performance, ****** attitude, dumb football IQ, horrible coaching, no heart. And so many other reasons.

I am 45. Been a fan since 86. Yes, this is as bad as I can remember. Especially at home. I wonder what was the combined amount of points to MTSU, DUKE, FSU and now Pitt?

177-71. 3 of the 4 opponents scored 45 points with Pitt scoring 42

Fan since 71 or 72 and worst ever. Am even down years there was hope. This year after the opponent scored a TD or two it was game over. Let the player and staff purge begin!

Teams of the 70’s had tons of heart and often punched above their weight against some excellent competition. I saw those teams out talented and blown out but they never quit And we always stayed until the end of the game. This years team was unwatchable. Literally.

Went over 2 full games and 4 OTs without scoring a TD, had 8 total yards in an entire half of football against our biggest rival at home and went 26 straight drives at home with out a TD. Man I sure hope Mario doesn’t risk humiliating Gattis by firing him before weekend is over

worst tackling ever, worst home record, worst offense, worst in the injury department, worst offense play calling, less separation by WRs ever.

Also number #0 is the worst safety I have seen played at the U and that includes Robert Knowles worst years. What in **** happened to 5 star JW???

IMO, there is no reason for ANY Canes team to NOT be bowl eligible each and every season. I think Mario would agree with that as well. Now, he has got to get to work and turn this **** show around quickly.

Obviously Gattis has to go, but I think Steele should be on the block as well.

To me every game this season sucked more than the previous game. Conservative game against A&M, lost to MTSU, couldn't score 30+ points against NC, Duke beatdown, FSU massacre, and Pitt running down our throats to end the season. In my 31 years as a cane fan this is the worst team.

I am probably the most diehard Canes fan in my family and I have never felt more disinterested in watching our team play at any point in my 40 years. Absolutely dreadful.

Lesson learned—I will be buying 0% of the off-season hype.
