Worst Miami team ever?

I haven't given up in years but today I intentionally switched the channel after Mallory's fumble. I wasn't going to do it to myself today.

Glad I didn't. This team was **** to watch.

I know this is a totally negative post.

I believe Mario can improve the team

I’m strictly saying that this year is the worst year for Miami Hurricanes football in at least 40 years

I’m 43. I’ll admit to not knowing any of the terrible 1970’s teams. But I did witness 1997 and 2007.

Clearly. 1997 was a train wreck with sanctions decimating the program. There was no depth and Butch Davis had to play a ton of freshmen.

2007 was an abomination. Coker’s poor recruiting had left an unbalanced roster with no chance for a first year coach (Randy Shannon) to win.

This year, Miami spent more on football than ever . They returned a Heisman candidate quarterback and most of a 7-5 team. Not only did they finish 5-7, they got blown out consistently. Most of their games were not even close The previous teams didn’t have the luxury of a transfer portal to retool a roster with.

This is the WORST year of Miami football I’ve witnessed
Worst team since the 1970s. 2007 was close, but did not have the degree of blowouts that this team did (although we scored more this season than in 2007).

There were many games this year I turned off or just tuned out. Never done that before this year. It was hard to stomach week in and week out.
Didn’t watch half of the MTSU game, all of the UNC except the final drive, all of the Duke game, and all of the Va Tech game. The last game I missed was 2010 at Osu because I had to work.

In modern era? **** YEA..

And said it after the MTSU game.. You cant lose like that and expect anything good to happen.. team was DOA

OMG I keep forgetting we lost to MTSU and not only did we lose to them but they trashed us easy. BTW MTSU are currently 7-5 smh. Another reason why this is easily the worst canes team ever (80s-present)
