My suspicion is we couldn’t get him admitted. Just speculation but that seems most likely.

In the middle of COVID? Dawg, colleges in this state are basically taking anyone right now with all the waivers kids are getting because of the 4th quarter of the school year, no ACT/SAT since February, and no way to retake credits. Regular kids that were otherwise deferred to the Spring semester being told "changed our mind, welcome to the Fall semester."...its wild.

idk of Moise's grade situation, but it'd be pretty wild for grades or some transcript issues to hold the kid up this late in the process.
