Manny should talk to the staff before going to the leaders on the team for a vote to let the entire team vote on bringing him back. The leaders know the pulse of the locker room.
And people keep forgetting that the state can still pursue charges if they felt they had enough evidence without cooperation. These charges were dropped fast. It didn't drag on for months. Not saying nothing happened but that's an eye opener

Would u want R Kelly around your daughter? Would say the same about oj? Both had their charges dropped.
let’s keep it 💯..the only reason some think it’s a no brainer to take him back is because of his talent level..talent gets you chances to have some behavior and actions tolerated..but idk if this type of issue can nor should be tolerated because of his talent

Does innocent until proven guilty mean nothing?

I agree this situation is similar to millions of situations in the past that a lot of us have seen personally.. BUT we should STILL treat it objectively since we know nothing. My first reaction to the news of him being dismissed was absolute approval. If there was any chance that he would be convicted of those crimes we had to cut him off, cane or not, theres no excuse for laying hands on a woman. The allegations and circumstances were serious.

Now we see that the charges were dropped. His “BM” stepped off the witness stand and though we can guess why, we don’t really KNOW. Why can’t we be the school to give Tae another chance for a crime we don’t know he committed? Even if we’re guessing and assuming that he made this awful disgusting decision, one way or another he’a going to get a second chance.

Yes he’s a five star athlete and its hard to overlook the effect that has on everything. Its probably why we’re still talking about it. But STILL the truth is that we hardly know ANYTHING about the situation. All we know is that he’s a Cane and he bleeds orange and green. I think WE should be the school to give his family the support and counseling they need because up until a month ago.. Tae was our family. Ohana and ****. Now we’re just “reading between the lines” and I dont think that’s how justice should work.

The state certainly can pick it up if the evidence is there..which from what understand the young lady went to the Hospital (if I’m wrong on that please correct me). And If the girl decided to not show or follow through, yes these charges could be dropped this quickly

Case is Closed.
Period.
Yeah, I realize there are SJW who will have an issue with his being reinstated and they may win out in the end, but that would be a disgrace.

How dare a program not tolerate dumbass stuff and have expectations about proper behavior...You can tell that a lot of our meathead "fans" would be cool with the next Aaron Hernandez or Lawrence Phillips enrolling here, as long as they win. Avantae has consistently made dumb decisions (a dude ******** around on a pregnant girlfriend, while having multiple baby mamas) and eventually, he was going to do something dumb, AGAIN.

He is free to continue his career, somewhere else.

Its envy. Bama has given him unlimited resources and he figured how to use it to win. He's probably a good guy and is loved by his players and they play for him with no quit.

BUT, I want my CANES to derail him with the proverbial "kick in the head" and supplant them as kings of CFB.

Let me ask the attorneys here please , if a person accuses another of a crime publicly and the person being accused is destroyed including there future.
Then the accuser say I change my mind can they also have charges against them for destroying an innocent person?

Avontae said he was innocent and falsely charged. Does anyone here have evidence to show otherwise? Does UM have evidence that shows otherwise? It doesn’t appear that way. And if you don’t have any evidence but still don’t believe him, may I ask why?

It took YEARS to get them dropped this took weeks. That's the difference. Prosecutors are not in the business of just dropping charges especially violent ones committed by a young black male. And that's keeping it 💯
