Rumor Will The Hurricanes Prove JP Wrong?

Clemson is absolutely the favorite to win the ACC. This is based on roster and schedule.

I also believe Pate is being overly ambitious on Florida. Too many pitfalls on their schedule.

Pate's take on Miami is entirely reasonable, especially as a program outsider.

I think Pate and Pickell are the same person. They just put a wig on Pate.

The program getting better each year. He said Miami being the at-large invite is a possibility, but felt strongly:

1. Clemson is winning ACC vs G Tech
2. ACC won't get 2 invites
3. Miami would be a deserving team on outside looking in


But let's reduce CFPO down to four.

I think he's being eminently fair.

Gainesville is getting in at 9-3 before a 9-3 UM. That's just a bias that is weighted towards the SOS. Pate is assuming we lose to Florida and the Irish and run the table but lose one of our AWAY conference games that we shouldn't.

Given our swoon last year, with a generational QB, can you blame him?

It's up to the Coaching Staff and the Team to prove him wrong, one game at a time. That's all we can do.

I think the ACC gets two invites unless 2nd place is 9 wins

I don’t believe Miami at 10-3 would be left out over 9-3 UF with a H2H W… just no way
 
Haven’t seen any podcaster that isn’t a Miami fan pick us.
And they talk about it very mater of fact like.

They all say it will be tough game but that nd has too many players and travels well and Miami can’t stop them and Love and all the rest.

They don’t give us even a punchers chance. At least with Uf there was a mix up f opinions. Not with this game.

It’s the national opinion that this game is just a big speed bump for the domers.

I wouldn't say a speed bump but most of the national media probably has it 70-30 ND. They believe in Marcus Freeman.

how is UF going 9-3 with a QB that'll play half a season and have matching TD/INT ratio????

We have done nothing but disappoint for 20+ years now.

Why in the world would any outsider expect anything less than disappointment again this year?
