Pate uses Miami for engagement and has essentially admitted it on his show. He's an SEC homer and the only other schools he slurps are the ones that slurp him. He definitely puts up the best "I am neutral and above the fray" act, however. Fooled a lot of morons into believing he is some voice of college football.

Needless to say whatever it is, if SMU/Georgia Tech/Louisville etc stand in your way that should be perspective enough

That’s what I said.. I literally said flattery and expectations only lead to let down. What you just said. While the opposite, being picked to not win and miss postseason, typically is used as motivation.

This is all in response to “media opinions and projections” and shouldn’t matter to fans.

Obviously, last year should be motivation. Not sure what your trying to do here

I dont think it's disrespectful at all. Clemson should be the favorite. Disrespect is earned.

They get an Oregon squad who lost a lot of players at home and while OSU is on the road, they lost even more players. Penn State returns most of their team outside of the star TE and DE, positions they usually always find a way to replace. I have Texas at #1 but its not that far fetched.

Nebraska, while their schedule sucks, they have to go 10-2 at minimum to get in, no way they get in at 9-3. Even at 10-2 the schedule argument and ranked opponents wins should have them out.

UF love was there last year, but he's ignoring their wild card, Napier can't help but meddle in the offense. He's what will cost them multiple games. Secondary wildcard is Lagway's health. I see him missing games again this year.

He is right about one thing. I think the season is pretty chaotic, but that will still favor the SEC/B1G bias in one way or another.

He has Pedo State as B1G champs.

He believes SEC and B1G will throw weight around for SOS and ACC amd Big 12 won't get 2 invites (mentions SMU's beatdown from Pedo last year)
 
It's crazy how many schools had experienced transfer QBs last year and how few have experienced QBs this year.

PSU, Clemson, Miami, Texas have the best rosters with good/experienced QBs.

For his sake, he better hope he’s right because he’ll either get off social media for awhile or have a serious meltdown with the way Miami fans attack him. If you think Kirk Herbstreit had a meltdown from FSU fans… it won’t even come close to what Miami fans give this guy. Lol
