If Manny fires the defensive staff and DOESN’T fire Feeley, then he doesn’t get it.
man oh man we lack explosive strength for over 15 years. we got stoned on that 4th and 1 yesterday and a NC LB ran over C.Gaynor as if he wasn't there. a 17 year kid out fought Wiggins for the ball...... lack of heart is troubling as well

We have posters who think 300’s are strength and conditioning that have anything to do with, well, strength.

whole D staff needs to go. make a new DC hire change scheme as well. CMD daddy is a politician and CD has those traits as well
to save his job, their gone.....CMD gone in 2 years

This is a really bad take. Feely is the best S&C guy we've had in years
not really our O Line has not had any push upfront for a couple of years. we play a team with talent and we get pushed around badly Bullied is a better word Whisky 2, LSU, NC we are missing something as we look weak against top teams.come back to me next Sept when Alabama dominates us on both sides of LOS......

This is a serious question, not about what Manny should do, but what he’ll actually do. These are members of his close circle that he either has to show the door or burn with. Will he actually show them the door?

Firing the defensive staff will mean admitting that his scheme, his whole defensive coaching career is a failure. So no. Plus he has no connections. No self respecting DC will want to work for a dead man walking.

Funny how last year he blamed everything on the offense and acted like his defense was perfect. That he was some kind of defensive savant. What we saw last night was not something new. Other ACC coaches knew how bad this gimmicky defense was and had no respect for it. They just didn’t have the talent to do what Mack did. I actually felt that Dabo took his foot off the gas while Mack wanted to make a statement to the guy he fired.

This.

Manny's only play here is maybe to scapegoat Mike Rumph, then go in the lab and tweak his scheme.

He wouldn't be the first coach who's had to make adjustments.

If he doesn't, he'll be a DC at Louisiana Tech again in a couple years.

I chose no because removing baker and promoting banda or patke to call HIS plays does not constitute as a progressive move to me.

Could literally just throw ed reed into DC for his first time ever with a hands off approach and it would be better than the gimmicky *** manure scheme. Which...also would be the most miami thing to ever do.
