Will/Can Radakovich force Mario to make changes at the end of the year?

realistically, which innovative OC will want to work with Mario? thats the biggest question. wasn't gattis like plan D?
Innovative OCs grow on trees these days. If the ones in P5 don't want to work for Maria then go to G5. If they won't come (doubtful) go FCS. Doesn't matter where they come from if they have a modern potent offense sign them up. Belotti plucked Chip Kelly from a D3 school and lit the world on fire

When things go this awry, going to have to a huge amount of money anyways. I say throw 2.3 mil at Joe Brady or Dan Mullen and make them say no.

I said this in another thread but since we're stuck with Mario I think his best course of action is to learn from Dabo. Hire elite coordinators and let them run the show. The only thing Mario should be involved in is recruiting.

This right here.Mario should be a coach in name only and just recruit and go get top notch coordinators in here to run everything else…of course Gattis supposedly was the best choice out there with his #1 trophy and all and Steele had a decent resume even though most if not all of it was garnered many years ago but we can see how they turned out.

I still say the reason it took Mario so long to name an OC is because there’s very few OC’s left that run that sHT offense that Mario is **** bent of shoving down everyone’s throat and it took him that long to find anyone that ran anything remotely similar that was willing to run this crap if given a little extra money.

If we have to rely on Mario to maneuver the team through games with his decision making this ship is gonna end up in the rocks ,albeit after Mario wastes his last TO right before the ship hits the rocks, and no kid worth a flip is gonna want any part of a sinking ship.

Its miami. I dont expect pressure put on mario at all.

Im hopeful Zo gets in his ear but i dont see it. Maybe after 3 years of sucking.

The AD really shouldn't have to order changes. The lightning bolt of an embarrassment that's just hit Mario and his program ought to enough to jolt anyone out of whatever illusions they were under about the faulty offensive blueprint he used. He may now be motivated to make significant changes. I just worry about the judgment of someone who has been so wrong about getting this team ready for this year. Will that kind of mind make the right changes?

Isn't this kinda the model we already have? CMC hired, by title, the best OC in CFB last year. He hired one of the best DCs, from the SEC. In theory, I'm sure CMC thought these two could and would be able to handle teams in the ACC. But, things obviously did not turn out this way.

The problem is way deeper than coordinators. The problem is way more was demanded of everyone all off season. Way more. And the prior staff was **** on (some rightfully so and some not so much).

And most guys are worse players. That is a huge problem.
Bingo.

Maybe too much.

The players aren’t handling it.

Exactly, people acting like we’re paying Mario 8 million only to take away all his power are idiotic. The people writing the checks think his way is going to work for some reason and they aren’t going to undermine him this quickly. We hired a bunch of people that all think alike and think reverting back to the 80’s is the best possible outcome.

I have a feeling Gattis/Steele will both leave on their own volition tbh. Will be interesting to see if any assistants are specifically let go. Although the overall tackling on D is collectively awful on the back end talent acquisition will solve a lot, offensively its practically the opposite, we need a schematic wizard who will make us dynamic & exciting. Get someone young who wants to embarrass the opposition and build his rep and making us relevant.
