There is no reason that Perry shouldn't have gotten playing time, red shirting him is useless.
You missed the 3 straight losses then?No need in burning his shirt for one game when he's probably still not ready. Jeez.

Yes sir Mr Saban, you're the expertPerry is not ready. Why can't you comprehend this?

Glad you finally noticed. ;o)
I guess you missed the pitt game. Difference was alabamas backup came in and actually looked like he belonged on scholarship, ours came in and looked like he was throwing and ground hogs. Not really addressing your question bc I think the answer to it is obvious, but I was asking myself if Richt would have the balls (common sense) to pull the QB like Saban did at halftime.
I'm not sure he's the type to make that move.
8 games into season? Evidence please. (Notice, not ONE person said he should have started game 1)Perry weighed 176lbs at 6'4".

How do you know if he is ready or not? Did Saban know his backup was ready? No, he took a leap of faith because he knew he couldn't win without throwing.
That's all we needed in the Pitt game. Someone who could complete a forward pass. Something a college QB should have been doing since maybe 6 years old. Regardless of "rating" or weight/height ration or some equally idiotic excuse on the spinning wheel of excusesDid Saban know his backup was ready? No, he took a leap of faith because he knew he couldn't win without throwing.

Or maybe, just maybe, Richt saw enough in practice to know Perry wasn't ready. The guy wasn't even close to ready when he arrived, and didn't start splitting second team snaps until bowl practices. The Pitt game was meaningless, and there's no way in **** you will ever convince me Perry leads us to a W against Clemson. That's delusional.
Yeah, there were some passes Perry MIGHT have made against Pitt that could have won us the game. There were also a ton of plays that could have negatively effected the team that an ill prepared QB could make in a game like that.

Clemson blows our doors off no matter who the QB was. Team was absolutely out of gas by the ACC Title game.
Sure thing Ms Cleo. The Pitt game was meaningless, and there's no way in **** you will ever convince me Perry leads us to a W against Clemson. That's delusional.

Glad you agree it didn't have to be Rosier.Clemson blows our doors off no matter who the QB was.
