By definition, you can't be "a good recruiter" if you "lead the country in de-commits." This guy is nowhere near the recruiter Ron Zook is. Zook consistently pulled in an abundance of studs despite being a completely inept head coach.

While Golden gets early verbals with the best of them, that means absolutely nothing in the final analysis. you can't field a team with verbals.

But the "finishing skills" are all that matters in recruiting.

it's like the Seinfeld episode about the rental car reservation. The entire point of the reservation is for the car to be there when you need it.

A Golden verbal commit who ultimately goes to FSU, UF, etc... means that Golden dropped the ball; whereas, the recruiters from the other schools sealed the deal and got the shiny car
