Who do you think is the best QB in the country?

Leave Beck out for purposes of the discussion.

I’ve been watching cutups of all the QBs to get ready for the season, and LaNorris Sellers stands out from a talent standpoint over guys like Klubnick (reminds me of Colt McCoy), Allar, Nussmeier, and Leavitt. I like how Sellers carries himself, his strength is insane, and he is an easy thrower.

Who do you have at #1?
Sellers vs Missouri was one of the best QB games I’ve seen. The guy is unreal.

I see a lot of Sellers here. Must watch QB for sure though still a long way to go passing the ball imo

Whenever we were on defense last year I’d change the channel usually to watch them

Sophomore slumps are real and without Rocket Sanders I question what they will be on offense but he was the most fun non Cane player for me to watch last year

Top 10 in no order

Saywer Robinson - Baylor
Drew Allar - PSU
Lanoris Sellers - USCe
Sam Leavitt - ASU
Klubnick - Clemson
Mateer- OU
A healthy Jalon Daniels - Kansas
Mendoza - Indiana
Becht -Iowa State
Altmeyer -Illinios

From an NFL standpoint, I think these will be the hottest names in May 2026:

LaNorris Sellers
Carson Beck (I'm optimistic, but it will be boom or bust)
Drew Allar

Garrett Nussmeier will be in the mix but he has more physical limitations than those three.

@Memnon has been pushing Sawyer Robertson and I agree with him- NFL-type physical tools.

Klubnick is a Colt McCoy-type prospect to me.

Fernando Mendoza can work his way up the board. It will depend on his physical development, which has been on an upward trajectory since high school. Where is the ceiling? Interesting player to follow.

Sam Leavitt has a chance but I think he'd be smart to stay. He reminds me of Bo Nix skillset wise, but Nix needed the extra years.

Allar certainly has the size, and the NFL folks will eat that up. Assuming he has a good year, he's a top 5 pick for sure.

… 53 years of fandom down the drain if the Steelers draft that numbskull.

Allar, like Rosen, lacks the processing skills to be a successful starting QB in the NFL. Game moves too fast for those types.

There’s a reason Rosen couldn’t cut it in PHX. And MIA. And TB. And SF. And ATL. And CLE. And MIN.

Sellers- could be at the end if he develops.

Allan is overrated

What physical limitations does Nuss have? Good size, functional athleticism, big arm.

What this thread proves is that college football is wide open this year. Unlike prior years, where there were fantastic, returning quarterbacks, there isn’t anyone that appears lethal.
