You will appreciate this story then…using chatgpt to craft a response on a message board: incredibly ghey.
for me it's ND because of their northern sort of sanctimonious-ness like @caneingville alluded to. It's like people from England talking about soccer with their nose up at anyone when they've won ****-all in 60 years (my family is from Argentina so naturally we can't stand those rhee tards.
was at the Notre Dame-Indiana playoff game & tailgate and the mere mention of Miami would make literal stream blow out of these fake fat Irish *****' ears.
there's a funny mix of disdain and fear from them, knowing what the CFB landscape would look like if this program can figure it out like the glory days. stuff like that is part of what makes the Canes by far my favorite team to support: there's not a single opponent that is remotely similar to what this thing used to be and can get back to going forward.
though with UiF being in-state and in the SEC, I root harder for their consistent suckage than Notre Dame, if that makes sense
When I was doing my MBA internship at [very large healthcare company you have all heard of], I was introduced to a colleague who had gotten his MBA at Notre Dame. We were chatting and as they all do, he asked me what my career background was, what schools I went to, etc. Of course, he became a total **** when I said I did my undergrad at Miami.
But I shut him up pretty quickly when I told him how I turned down Notre Dame’s business school without even applying. That POS school actually FedEx overnighted me a package offering me a full ride after my GMAT score got recorded, and I laughed, tore it up, and threw it in the trash. You should have seen his smarmy jaw drop as I was telling him this.
I then thanked him for confirming that I made the right decision and walked away.
