Who do you dislike more as a Cane. ND or UF?

And just to say this..

It's fun to have heated rivalries. I said dislike for a reason. For all the Canes on this board that gets to go to the game Miami vs ND) I love it and I'm pulling for us.

But no need for actual physical violence I just moved out of West Sacramento, to Denver a little over 3 years ago now. In West Sacramento I saw actual physical violence basically every other day. Violence sucks to give and receive.

Enjoy the atmosphere of football it's fun to do jaw jacking with the other opponent and takie in the memories. Appreciate being in the experience.

Crazy thing is. I love royal blue, and I love orange, but I hate them together….ESPECIALLY not on a football uniform…. with script writing on an orange helmet…..nor the orange and royal blue teams, that call their stadium, “The swamp”. Yeah! I hate dem muhfuccas the most.

Pure Cinematic Magic - Can Not Wait to see Mario run it back with a vengeance at home this year.

They’ll be a wounded animal backed into a corner. I am not taking this game lightly, and I look forward to seeing the boys respond to the challenge.

I can't pick between the two. My hatred for both programs runs deeper than an 8th Street hooker's vaginal canal.

FACK THE NOTRE SCUM DAME FACK THE 300YEARS OLD LOU CHEATING HOLTZ HE IS WORSE THAN THE DUMB BALD SON OF THE ***** HULK HOGAN MIAMI NUMER ONE JIMMY JOHNSON NUMBER ONE NOTRE DAME ACH PTUI FACK HIM IN HIS SISTERS ***

Season is coming up kids. We play both this year...

I personally can't stand ND. I made a thread weeks ago. But, basically how ND for several big games completely disrespected Miami. Personally. We talking ish like Catholics vs Convicts. It was actually worse than that when the our team showed up to their stadium.

Gators, are Gators. Before even , Urban Meyer did the 4 wide receiver set deep in the 4th quarter to intentionally run up the score.. Florida been ****sss.

Otherwise, they swing off our nuts.

Thoughts.
Both …

Right now I hate ND more. On September 1, I will hate UF more assuming ND and/or their homosex fan base doesn't do something really despicable on August 31.

Both fanbases are pretty **** racist against us, so they are equal in many respects.

But some of the delusions these Gators come up with are truly mind-boggling. For those of you that are too young (or unaware), they actually believe that if 9/11 hadn’t happened, they would have won the 2001 national championship. So it’s easy to just laugh at them.

Notre Dame fans are disgustingly sanctimonious in that northern way that I can’t stand.
Lol we beat the **** out of them to open 02 season how does that logic work?

To be completely honest I don’t hate any of them. I want to beat their ***, but I have good friends that are fans of all three (throwing FSU in). My wife and son both went to UF and are Canes fans so…
FSU has really climbed the a-hole ladder though. I’ve never seen a fanbase talk so much **** after going 2-10.

So, I’ve been thinking about the Florida Gators and Notre Dame Fighting Irish a lot lately... and by "thinking," I mean I've been plotting their eventual downfall. You know, just in case they needed some inspiration. 😏

Let’s start with the Gators. Florida fans like to talk about their “legacy” as if it’s something they actually earned. Let’s be real — their entire history consists of a couple of decent seasons sprinkled between a whole lotta mediocrity. Sure, they won a few SEC titles, but that’s like bragging about winning the "Best of the Worst" competition. Do they ever get out of their own swamp without tripping over their own feet? The only thing they seem to dominate is the “Most Delusional Fanbase” award. Seriously, their idea of "success" is like someone patting themselves on the back for not falling flat on their face while running in flip-flops. 🙄

Now, Notre Dame. Oh boy. The “Golden Domers” are about as relevant in the modern era as my 2007 Nokia phone. They act like they invented football and that they’re still the top dogs, but the only thing they’ve got going for them is that old-school "tradition" thing they love to shout about. Newsflash: It’s 2025, not 1988, and no one cares that you might’vewon a national title a thousand years ago. They show up to the big games and promptly get their lunch handed to them, while their fans sit there with their gold helmets, pretending it’s still a magical time in college football. But hey, keep dreaming, Notre Dame — I’ll be over here laughing as your season ends the same way every year: in disappointment.

The truth is, the only thing Gator and Irish fans have in common is their delusion. They both think they’re important, but we all know the real deal. Miami is sitting comfortably at the top while they scramble around looking for any shred of relevance.

So, to all the Gators and Irish fans out there: I hope you enjoy your mid-tier bowl games and that "rich tradition" you hold so dearly — we’ll be over here hoarding championships. 🏆🔥

Go Canes, baby. Always.
using chatgpt to craft a response on a message board: incredibly ghey.

for me it's ND because of their northern sort of sanctimonious-ness like @caneingville alluded to. It's like people from England talking about soccer with their nose up at anyone when they've won ****-all in 60 years (my family is from Argentina so naturally we can't stand those rhee tards.

was at the Notre Dame-Indiana playoff game & tailgate and the mere mention of Miami would make literal stream blow out of these fake fat Irish *****' ears.
there's a funny mix of disdain and fear from them, knowing what the CFB landscape would look like if this program can figure it out like the glory days. stuff like that is part of what makes the Canes by far my favorite team to support: there's not a single opponent that is remotely similar to what this thing used to be and can get back to going forward.

though with UiF being in-state and in the SEC, I root harder for their consistent suckage than Notre Dame, if that makes sense

UF ......Im catholic.

Plus we havent played them enough.

i grew up in south florida with uf alumni teachers, guidance counselors, principals etc. Plus most of their fans have this boujie *** vibe to em like they are better than us.

Lol we beat the **** out of them to open 02 season how does that logic work?
And we beat them (twice 😉) in January 2001 as well.

So their insane theory is that 9/11 caused their Week 3 game against Tennessee to be moved back. Which, first of all, is ridiculous, because obviously 9/11 wreaked havoc on the entire country and moved tons of games. And any given Saturday and all that.

But according to them, they would have surely beaten UT had the game not been rescheduled, since UT’s star RB had an ankle injury back in September. Of course, when the game was eventually played in December, the ankle was healed and he ran all over them and UF lost. So UT clinched the SEC East and went on to the SEC Championship game.

The hilarious thing is that to hear them talk, if only 9/11 hadn’t happened, the 2001 championship would have been theirs, yet SO MANY things would have had to happen.

1. Beat UT
2. Win SEC Championship
3. Beat Miami

And they couldn’t even accomplish the first one, let alone the second and third. Let’s not forget they also lost to Auburn in October, so that UT game wasn’t even their only loss that season!

They truly are the most delusional fan base ever. Also, this isn’t just one or two random people on the internet that have put this out there. This is something that the majority of the fanbase seriously believes. It’s like us with the Terry Porter Fiesta Bowl controversy-it’s that serious to them.

The university even mentions it here (#4):
