Who are the best five players in college football in 2026?

3,163 YDS, 26 TD, 7 INT - with some of the best weapons in CFB.

VS

3,973 YDS, 34 TD, 6 INT - with mediocre weapons, going into a season with far better weapons.

Not sure why most of you consistently put the 1st QB above the 2nd QB (ours). Mensah is insanely underrated going into next season.
Mensah is a superstar.

Can be based on production, ability, or both.

My early five would be (no order): Malachi Toney (Miami), Jeremiah Smith (Ohio State), Colin Simmons (Texas), Arch Manning (Texas) and CJ Carr (Notre Dame).
1.) Jeremiah Smith
2.) Tinidad Chambliss
3.) Malachi Toney
4.) Leonard Moore
5.) Colin Simmons
6.) Arch Manning
7.) Darian Mensah
8.) Dante Moore
9.) C.J. Carr
10.) Kewan Lacy
11.) Mark Fletcher Jr.

Mali
Colin Simmons
Leonard Moore
Ahmad Harvey
Dylan Stewart or the Utah DE who just left for Michigan.

The ‘27 edge class is loaded for the draft

I’m an Arch believer. He’s dealt with hype, adversity, bad OL play and came out stronger.

There just aren’t many guys with that size who can run for 60-yard TDs and make NFL throws.
yea, and hopefully the new dolphins leadership can execute a proper tank.

Jeremiah
Mali
Collin Simmons
Those three no debate. It’s the other two. Really Dante Moore should be there but that last game he played was ugly. I’d probably go Dante Moore and Leonard Moore as the last two
There’s a Rb somewhere that needs to be on this list

Mali
JJ
Colin Simmons
Dante Moore
Kewan Lacey dude was the truth and Gave them a spark when they needed it. Plus his season stats were legit can only imagine it’ll be similar

I hope yall have girlfriends and wives you’re dedicated to as much as Arch Manning
Finally somebody is saying it. I just don't get it with this kid. If his name was Arch Smith, nobody would even be talking about him. Maybe he makes a big jump next season but right now I don't see how he's even close to anyone's top 5.

Maybe I need to go back and watch more of manning, but he looked like a disaster from what I remember. His mechanics, pocket awareness, and accuracy were awful.

J smith - OSU
Toney - Miami
Moore - Notre Dame
Simmons - Texas
Chambliss - Ole Miss

Trinidad Chambliss Is better than both Manning and Carr. Not even close, maybe not as a pro prospect but as a college QB
He wasnt better than our dented can QB a month ago.

CJ Carr played Miami better than Chambliss and it was his first college game. Hes a very good QB and.will be a problem on 11/7.

Ill still take our guy over both of them.

Our QB is better than those two.

No cap.

Dont think its particularly close, either. 😤
Could be the case, our running game and Toney passing/running will take production away from him. Especially when factoring in the amount of games we should be up big in not needing to pass due to the weak schedule.
