Whether you believe it or not...

I get so tired of you bloggers and your bashing of coaches. The coaching staff is guilty of coaching safe with a lead (a little bit) but so did every other team that has been up on FSU. Louisville was up 21 and tried to eat away the clock the bottom line is this.

Dorsett - had a good game but dropped a TD, Bagley missed the FG on that drive , left with no points.
Berrios - dropped a TD, we left with no points on that drive.
Dobard- fumbles in wide open field

Kirby- dropped an easy int. Next few plays FSU scores points.
Jamal - Dropped an easy pick , FSU turns it into points..

You can scream coaches all you want , we dropped two Td's fumbled twice and dropped two ints.

Coaches coach and players play. You dont beat #2 team not making plays..

Nah man, we were conservative! That's what happened...CONSERVATIVE. Even Kirk Herbstreit said it, so trust me that's why we lost. I don't care what you think you saw, it's about... conservative!

For the record, my previous post was sarcastic because I'm not feeling the overly simplistic "conservative" theme; however, ultimately you have to win. This staff isn't getting it done. So we should move on. Ultimately our "trend" and "effort" and "working our tails off" has to pay off, otherwise the experiment has failed. 6-4 is unacceptable.

But if we're talking about this game, then I think we failed to make the plays necessary to win. And they were there, whether you hate the coaches, scheme, etc. or whatever.

That's why I'm so ****ed. I was already over this "staff" ****. I just wanted to beat those sorry ****ers. And we could have. Could the plan have been better? Of course, but most of the time it could always have been better to some degree. But we hurt ourselves with way too many missed opportunities (which were there, despite whatever you think of the playcalling or skeem), F$U pulled some things out of their *** (gotta be ****ting me with that McCord tipped pass TD), and the refs didn't help.

It hurts because I wanted this one for the players and for Miami. And it was right there.

I don't think yesterday was about the staff. A few mistakes cost us the game. Not the game plan.
Lmao. Uh huh. The gutless 2nd half gameplan was not the staff at all. I love lurking to read your posts because the unintentional humor value is always so high. So clueless, yet so much conviction, and tie it all together with zero self awareness. Such a rich combination that makes for many laughs.

Dropped TDs, fumbles, and a PBU turned TD for, that's not on the staff.

Please just end yourself. This is what you said before:

Pic comes out small, but you said "[2014] is when we should see what an Al Golden team really looks like because his first real recruiting class are juniors."

But now suddenly, the staff isn't responsible for the **** ups of the kids they hand-picked and coached up.

You're a spineless sack of ****.

Don't even cry about the deflected pass for a TD. FSU dropped a wide open TD the play right before.

lrg, any response to the fact that 6 months ago, we should have expected results precisely because Al golden finally had his players, but now when those players don't execute, it has nothing to do with Golden?

I'll wait for you to expertly craft a non-sequitir where you do everything but say "I was wrong."

lrg?

This year reminds me very much like the 1999 season. We are getting better. I remember after the game Bowden was beside himself. He didn't think Miami would be as competitive as quickly as they were in 1999.

Please, just stop. That 1999 team beat 2 ranked teams one being the #9 one

Nice try. Ohio State finished 6-6 that year. Who gives a flip what their pre-season rank was? The 1999 squad beat 1 ranked team--Georgia Tech in the Gator.

How the **** does this remind you of 1999? Miami still hasn't beaten a team worth a dam and yes, the perform me against fsu was admirable but ultimately they didn't do anything that 2 or whatever teams have already done against fsu this year. If miami was the first team to expose fsu then I might agree but they weren't .

No different than the teams that played 2002 osu close. That was their m.o. As it has been fsu's this year.

Some of you are so retarded it legitimately gets me rustled. 8 straight years of this and you guys just don't learn.

The guy sucks, it's obvious. And every year it's the same crap. "Next year is the year," "Reminds me of 1999." Wake the **** up and try using your brains for a change.

Simple, because the core team returns and most importantly the true freshman quarterback is playing at a very high level. We lose 1 defensive tackle, 1 defensive end, 2 linebackers, and 1 cornerback and 1 safety. The guy we'll miss is Perryman. Love Chick but he is replaceable. Like Pierre and so is he. Are you going to tell me Fentress is not replaceable? Chad Thomas is coming on. Jermaine Grace is coming on. Burns is coming on. Bush is playing like a first team All-ACC performer. I really like Owens and Young. You get Muhammad and Jenkins back. Huge loss if Duke declares. We'll run by committee next year. Yearby should be better. Edwards has improved significantly. We've got three very talented freshman coming in. We lose Phillip. Yes, we lose Clive but Dobard has skills. I'm not sure Flowers will declare, but Linder and Darling have been terrific as true freshmen. Isidora has improved greatly the past 4 games. Gadbois was getting better each week before injury. K.C. McDermott assuming he is healthy is a very nice talent. We return one of the best punters in the nation. Need to improve in the kicking game.

2014 Goal was to WIN THE COASTAL. Remember?

Enough with the "this team is better", "process" crap!!

The core team returns? The best players on the team are leaving and will be in the NFL.

#1 wide receiver Phillip Dorsett
Star and leader of the defense Denzel Perryman
Program's all-time leading rusher Duke Johnson
Stud TE Clive Walford

Also losing..

Your two best DL are gone with Anthony Chickillo and Olsen Pierre
Top cover corner Ladarius Gunter is gone
Starting LB Thurston Armbrister = out

Sorry dude, anybody who said next year wasn't living in reality. Go ask yourself how many upperclassmen, especially the senior class, were on the roster in 2011? Please include the dudes that got suspended or were lost very early in the season like Forston and Buchanan.

You most certainly can blame Golden for a ton of kids getting kicked out or transferring from his first 2 classes, especially guys who played a lot as true freshman or sophomores.

It looks like we have stability on our roster going into spring and next fall. Yeah, we'll lose Duke. I'm not convinced Flowers is declaring early. We may have a casualty but we look to be in pretty good shape FINALLY.

the exact quote, and i'm not sure why you can't read it since you saved it, lol. " His first real recruiting class are now Juniors, this is when we should start seeing what a golden Miami team will really look like" ..

So we are in fact starting to see that a golden Miami team will look like. We have a top 15 D, (top 30 in scoring) .. i'm sure scoring D matters more to the mopes this year since the total D number is good. And an offense ranked in the 40's in both scoring and total O, with a true freshman QB at the helm. Granted, I was reasonable before the season and thought we'd be and 8-4 team anyway, based on what we were bringing talent wise and our schedule (top 25 ranked schedule).. 10-12 wins would have been serious over achievement and golden would be in the NFL if he'd been able to get that out of this squad. Are we where we need to be W/L wise? no. But we haven't lost to any terrible teams. As of now, our worst loss will be Louisville, and the team that played that night is much different than the team on the field these days.

I'm so honored that FSU thinks we're good. I will take the compliment and cherish it for life!
