Who now then ? This **** show has gone on for almost 20 years . We need a coach who can develop and make changes in the game not after we get blown out . I’ll respect your opinion I’m curios . You been on here a long time keeping it real

an "over the hill" Butch Davis would still be a 10 Million times better coach than what Miami has now and has had for years !

Is Nick Saban, who is head coach of the #1 team in the country "over the hill" too ?

Butch and Nick are the exact same age, their birthdays are only a few days apart .
 
2 things.

1) The Canes in the 2020s are not the Canes of the 90s. Butch recruited and won late in his tenure here with memories of 4 recent National Titles in recruit memories. Also, no internet video of highlight reels and so many recruiting sites. The biggest programs are ensconced in S. Fl recruiting.

2) Butch is old. IF he were Butch from 20 years ago, he would dominate the crap conference FIU is in. He didn't.

Being over the hill has nothing to do with age. Nick Saban is the greatest coach in the history of modern college football and has another shot at winning a national title.

Butch Davis just went 0-5 this season.

This is a laughable comparison.

you have eye for talent you have eye for talent . I bet he’ll bring a lot of the 2001 kids in to help recruit . It was a 10 year 91 to 2001 so let’s not forget he can develop and recruit .

Congrats, Manny beat eight teams this season. Must be a top coach in the ACC according to this logic.

Butch didnt win a single game this season. Must be a **** coach in his conference according to this logic.
