When Oregon loses to Stanford?

Stoops and Kentucky playing Gayters tough.

(Some fan yelling over the TV broacast how they are owed their money back - hilarious)

Saw the game. It is a bad loss. No excuses. That Oregon defense is soft and yes, I realize that they had several key injuries to deal with. But ultimately, their office fell asleep at the worst possible time. I’m bad playcalling in the last couple of minutes and the game was atrocious. And those calls I thought point in the game need to be reviewed and or approved by the head coach.

I still like him. I just don’t think he’s coming. I would take Shaw in .00003 seconds. But he’s a Stanford man and future NFLer.
Injuries? Announcer must have been fed that excuse from the Hecht…. (Per CIS)

I would take Shaw at Miami, provided we provided him with a budget needed to get the assistants he needs. At least you'll have a consistent, hard nosed product. I have always wondered what Shaw could do with the ability to actually recruit. He has never been able to recruit at a high level, because you can't at Stanford.
Nope. Do not want. So g-d boring to watch.

Again, for those who dont realize that the california schools use political power to control the outcome of football games.... Here's a brief history lesson.

From the article:

In the wake of a report that Pac-12 leadership has influenced decision-making during the replay process of football games, commissioner Larry Scott announced an immediate change that will prevent any real-time involvement from conference leadership moving forward.

Yes they had politicians controlling the replay booth. I have no doubt they still control it by only allowing certain replay officials who are on board with their gobohomo group.

Why? They did exactly what they were instructed to do. This is who/what the Pac 12 is.

Remember, the Pac 12 admitted they had executive officials doing booth reviews, not actual referees. This is a conference that is politically controlled by the California schools. They HATE the Oregon schools and think their fans are all toothless hicks.
Lol man this couldn’t be a dumber post if you tried.

Will Stoops and Kentucky pull off a home upset of the Gayters?

13-10 UK. 78-yard blocked FG return for a TD. PAT blocked by UF.

This is who Mario is

not a bad coach, not a great coach

just a middle of the road coach

Maybe he will get better with time. It all starts with consistently winning games THAT YOU ARE SUPPOSE TO WIN.
What is Mario's record at Oregon as a favorite?

And thats been my issue with him...losing games every year to teams he was double digit faves.

Losses to Cal or Stanford or even worse Oregon state are not going to cut it

Same list as most.

I like Mario, but also see his ability to corch a game. The 4th-goal call we just saw was Ashely-eque.

Luke Fickell is a good coach, not coming to Miami.
Matt Campbell is a good coach, not coming to Miami.
Hugh Freeze might come to Miami, but he wouldn't get consideration.
Lane Kiffin isn't leaving Ole Miss.

Mark Stoops, but I just don't see the reason. But that's me.
Dave Clawson from Wake Forest. Good coach, maxed out at WF.

Jamey Chadwell from Coastal Carolina. His teams are solid on offense, defense, and special teams. But what about the jump to P5?
Bill Clark from UAB. But what about the jump to P5?
Billy Napier from UL will be in the $EC.

Bill O'Brien would be interestring, doubtful would come up in the conversation unless their is a new AD.

Good list but I am gunshy in getting a guy from G5. Look at lash, look at herman, etc. I’m sure some can succeed but it’s a huge jump.

The only sure thing about Mario is that he is better than Manny. That is an incredibly low bar.

Everything else about Mario is speculation, and this is coming from someone that wants him here.

If/when he loses, it will all depend on “how” those losses look. I’m so sick of seeing lethargic and undisciplined play.

Unfortunately, I don’t think there are any sure thing hires that are realistic and would clearly be better than Mario.
What about Greg Schano, great program builder and will recruit his *** off!

No argument. For every success, there are a dozen bad ones. A success does not mean the HC is Urban Meyer, he's an outlier. I mean someone who looks like they belong at the P5 level.

I'd take Shaw at Miami. There is ZERO % chance of that happening. Shaw's a Stanford-lifer, one of highest paid HCs in the PAC12. No reason to leave unless he decides to take an NFL job.
He is a Stanford lifer, what I don't get is why isn't he frustrated that he will never win a title at Stanford. It's a great school, I know the expectations aren't insane, but it would drive me nuts knowing that despite my best efforts, I'll never reach the top.

You're joking right? You realize Mario wont have Nike $$ to throw around here, how the fugg is this jabroni gonna take us to Bama levels???? He cant coach worth a **** and he wont be able to recruit here.

Who gonna take us to Bama level?
