how are we surprised this is the case? Our beat writers crap on the program when they give the "accurate report". When Patterson committed one of them literally said Patterson commits but will visit FSU. Even if true should not be the headline, the headline should be something positive.

I get that the beat writers are supposed to report but words are very specific and show intent

Agreed. It’s Week 0 heading into Week 1. The Miami portion of Game Day was sad and solemn. We snagged a huge commit in Patterson and then lost a whale in Stone. TVD will be at best coming off a hand injury recovery.

It would be nice to get a little juice out of Coral Gables other than coaches tweeting ahead of studs picking other schools.

Tweet the uniform colors. Tweet the captains. Tweet your position groups. Tweet the facts for the game.

Something to get fans excited to show up Friday Night to root for a team that was unwatchable and embarrassing last season.

It’s not that ******* hard…

It’s College Football Season and we want to get rolling!

We have the worst media pool in the country, and there's a legit reason why. They are terrible because there isn't a consequence for them being that way. Keep in mind, this is Miami, not some small college town where the ONLY entertainment option is the local University. Therefore, you can cut corners here and no one will care, in fact you have fans that live to be miserable and will support said corner cutting.

Any time a decent journalist hits the Miami beat, they end up leaving as soon as another opportunity presents itself. I've had the opportunity to know and work around these people, I am AMAZED that these are professional journalists. I found it weird that small time bloggers like myself relied more on sourcing and whatnot than the beat writer at the Miami Herald. I remember having a frank conversation with someone I knew in the athletic department, who straight up told me: "The pros that cover this program wouldn't be allowed to write for The Miami Hurricane, but somehow they got hired at places like the Herald."

Mario's stealth camp is really getting annoying. It's one thing to not allow reporters to view everything at practice. But even the official YouTube site has only 1 video of interviews with JT and Francisco over the last three days.

Susan has military grade sensors on those bikes. Combination vibration detectors - and direct-pressure sensors on the seats. Broadcasts to satellites, bounces data straight to Susan.

And she hasn't said squat.

So we good!

Just glad TVD's injured fanger wasn't his middle "social" finger, or his go-to nose picker.

TVD could be the only cat we have to keep healthy. The depth of talent on this team has improved so much year over year.
